These are THE rug pads to buy on Amazon- believe me I've tried them all. We moved to a new house with our loads of persian rugs and needed to replace all of the old pads. I've been ordering pads room by room over the last 6 months and wish I had found these sooner. They are far superior to all of the various brands here that I have purchased. They are thicker by far and more plush, the high quality of the felt, the loft, and the PRICING!. I really wish I could start over, these pads make the rugs look gorgeous and are so thick and soft to walk on. I ordered the 40 ounce and the 28 ounce and I am very pleased!!!! Thank you.

smells and sheds - very disappointed
This is a really disappointing purchase. I am sorry to leave a bad review. Pros: the pad arrived fine and is very thick. Cons: I can't stand the smell. I have been airing it out in my garage for days and it fills the space with this awful odor which doesn't seem to be getting much better. Also, I am covered in lint. I have ordered from Rug Pad USA in the past and been very happy. Previously ordered two 1/4 inch 100% felt pads and they did not shed like this and there was no odor so I had the same expectations. Now I don't know what to order except that I don't want this and won't use it. I hope the vendor will refund and pay for return shipping.

It makes a thinner rug look very cushy and more comfortable
I bought a very pretty rug for my country home living room, and found it needed some extra padding than my usual thinner pad. This one was perfect. It makes the rug look plush and very comfortable to walk on. The size was perfect. Can recommend.

I ordered a 8x12 and got something a lot bigger! I now have to buy some really good scissors and hopefully cut it evenally. If I wanted a bigger pad I would have ordered a bigger pad. I easily got a 12x16 pad instead. And the quality is just ok. I ordered the 32oz one but wish I had gotten it a little more thick. But then it could have been really hard to cut. Just be ready to cut the pad if you order the size you think is going to show up.

Good padding, maybe infested with carpet beetles
This is nice. But I started having carpet beetles appear after adding it to my place. It could have been this, or the rug that went on top. Anyone else have carpet beetles after ordering this?

CONFUSED! Came with Greenback not in pic!
Came with a Green backing which is not in the pic Confused as to which side should be on the floor!!!Didn’t want to stain my Rug Not the Wooden floor. Still waiting for a response Returning it is a hardship to pack & Mail back!!!!!

Comfort
I like that it was more comfortable walking on my rug with this pad under it. I thought it might be a little softer. But it worked out fine.

Not what I expected
I bought this to go underneath a rug for our family room. I thought it would make the rug more comfortable and squishy. It didn't. It is nice and thick but it is hard.
