This heater arrived exactly as advertised. It looks good and appears to work perfectly. Not a scam!!

This convector heater looks quite smart and is compact, but doesn't work as advertised or expected. Firstly, the heat output feels less than that of my 2000kW heater. Secondly, the temperature sensor over-reads by up to 5 degrees, relative to the temperature of the room. This effectively means that you have to set it to 25 degrees to get it to keep the room at 18 degrees or above (given that it doesn't re-activate until it reaches 2 degrees below the setting point). And then it rapidly ramps up to 25 degrees and cuts out. Not only that, but the heater didn't reactivate even when the panel shows 3 degrees below the setting point. Really frustrating. It's not even particularly quiet when the fan is on. Returned to Amazon.
