It’s a beanie, but a good one.
It’s a simple beanie, not a whole lot too it, but it fits well without clamping onto your head super tight, fits just right and provides a good bit of warmth. Probably would get a thicker one if you are in northern states, don’t think this would do much for negative temperatures. But for me where the lowest I see is about 17F, it’ll be just fine!

Not very thick or big, doesn't cover the bottom ...
Not very thick or big, doesn't cover the bottom of my ears. And not black on the inside. Should be warm enough though.

Average to low level quality
This item works fine, meaning it fits my 7 1/2" head, is great for a wet cold (not artic) but as the sewing is substandard and already unraveling I cannot recommended this item.
