I returned these TWICE! Both times they came snagged, and they had loose strings hanging off. Not sure what is going on because they had good reviews but twice is all I will try!

The Turkish Cotton Striped 2-Pack Bath Towel Set (30 x 54 inches) arrived and we immediately washed and dried the towels before using them in the bathroom. The first drying generated much lint. Now for the test. First my wife took her shower and used the towel. She was most pleased with the soft feel of the towel and its absorbency. I then took my shower and dried myself with the towel and agree with my wife. This is an excellent, high end, medium weight towel set that is comfortable to use and quickly and effectively dried me and my wife after our showers. My wife is most pleased with these towels and suggested I order more of them.Bottom line: These are large, high end, soft, comfortable medium weight cotton towels that look good and work well. Highly recommended.

I washed these once with nothing else and they came out of the dryer covered all over in white lint. I had to pick it off. The lint was hanging also from the bottom. The colors are nice, but now they look cheap.

These are attractive, generously-sized towels but they are considerably different than any of the towels I already have. The towels are thinner than I expected, even considering the low 500 gsm rating -- they were a bit sad looking when they arrived, but after washing for the first time, they did fluff up a little (and I mean just a little, these are definitely not thick towels). They do have a substantial feel to them and seem durable. I ordered the set of two bath towels in the lilac color, which is very pretty. The stripes are variegated sections of flat-woven material integrated into the terry portion of the towels but is only present at one end of the towel and also on only one face which might keep the towels from looking as nice as they otherwise would, in my opinion. The sides and edges are nicely stitched and there were no loose strings after washing and the towels did not lose shape. The product description states that the fabric is 95% Turkish cotton and 5% polyester. I have to say that I see absolutely no benefit at all to blending one of the finest cottons in the world with polyester, especially when 100% Turkish cotton is so prized for towels (and many Turkish towels are available for a price similar to these). However, the fabric content tag on the actual towels shows that the towels are made in India and are 95% cotton/5% polyester. These towels seem to be well made, but I think they are a bit overpriced considering the design and fabric thickness.

I returned them. They’re so much thinner than pictured and the thread count is low so they don’t keep a square shape. If I’d kept them, I suspect they’d have shredded in a wash. Time waster.
