The PCV pipe broke on my bmw's n55 engine, the car was at the dealer for a recall (I do all work on all my vehicles) The service advisor called me and told me the pipe was broken and it was $177 to replace. I said no thanks and bought this one, upon picking up my vehicle I installed this in the dealers parking lot, took me less than 5 minutes and looks exactly like the OEM part.

I replaced the valve cover gasket on my 2012 BMW X5 and while I was able to carefully take this part off intact, the middle of the tube disintegrated when I attempted to put it back on. Apparently, the plastic had become very brittle over the years.This piece fits perfectly. The side with the tabs take some effort. I used a screwdriver to get leverage to push the ends in. Everything seem to be working well - no CEL or other errors.If you are planning to change the valve cover or the gasket, I would also plan to replace this piece. You won't be wasting your time trying to take off the old piece intact. Just cut the hose in half or break the tabs knowing that you will be replacing it.

I was missing a few tabs on this hose after doing a valve cover gasket change. I couldn't figure out what the name of this hose was, and then I came across it on Amazon. I ordered it right away, and it fixed a check engine light that came on saying that there was low engine pressure. Very happy great replacement.
