Haven't really use it like I want to.

This rod goes from compact to fully extended very easily and casts beautifully but quickly came apart . Had to add the pole but kept the reel to hopefully add to another pole in the future.

Easy to transport due to its' light weight and ability to collapse into itself, this complete fishing rod and reel combo has enough backbone to handle anything from light fish such as panfish and small trout to big river bass. It is sturdy enough to handle all those types of fish but may break or snap with bigger fish such as salmon. The spinning reel can be spooled with monofilament for best results. This combo includes a small spool of what looks like clear monofilament line that is approximately 10lb rated. It can cast pretty far as long as you have some weight attached to the end of the line. I did not encounter any major issues while inspecting and using this fishing rod.The pros: easy to disassemble and lightweight, this rod it can be taken pretty much anywhere. All you have to do is extend it, rig your business end, and you are ready to fish. Long rod measuring at almost 7 feet, which means further casts. Very easy to set up and affordable at the current price.The cons: NoneIn conclusion, this rod and reel combo offers great value to beginner aspiring as well as experienced anglers and it looks cool and modern. I definitely recommend for freshwater fishing beginners since it is a great combo for the price that comes with simple and easy-to-use operation.

This would be a really great beginner rod/reel set for youth that doesn’t look like a neon blue or neon pink child’s rod. But in all honesty the quality is quite good and it would be an adequate rod for an experienced fisherman to travel with especially if that included air travel. It is super compact and yet when it telescopes it is solid. The fishing reel is decent, smooth casting no problems with the bail. Would it be my go to rod? No, but it would be the rod I would go to any time I had a fishing trip that required getting on a plane or traveling long distance.I was not thrilled with the accessories and I won’t use them, but I felt that the rod itself along with the case was worth the price.

It stay stuck in one position, it wouldn't close to fit in the bag I'm going to send it back

I've brought this on a few kayak camping trips this past year and hope to take it on a few packrafting trips next year thanks to just how lightweight this kit is. It's definitely designed for travel or for someone with limited storage space.The quality is on par with other off-brand fishing rods intended for beginners. I wasn't thoroughly impressed when using it (replaced the included accessories with my own tackle) but it got the job done and based on how it packs down, I'll be using this as my go-to backpacking and packrafting fishing rod in the future.Will update if the rod snaps, it starts rusting, or the reel malfunctions during future trips.

This is a great setup for a starter or to keep handy for some light to intermediate fishing. The rod and real are both nice and seem to be of good quality. The case and included accessories make a great combo and serve as a great kit while on or near the water. The rod breaks down easily and seems to be fairly strong compared to what I was expecting. I would recommend this to friends and family.
