Stopped charging after 5 uses
I bought this for my grandkids 9th birthday. They used it a handful of times and now it won't hold a charge. I would like to have it replaced.

Tons of Fun!
This SWIMN S1 Children's Electric Powered Kickboard is pretty cool! It is tons of fun for the kids. My son is 11 - this works well for him and his friends. Even for us adults it works too - slower but still fun. It can be used as a kickboard but also with the nozzles on, it can shoot water out - also great fun for the kids. It is very lightweight and easy to carry. I'm not sure about longevity with all of the storage and maintenance instructions - stays shouldn't store in a unheated garage or shed - not sure where I am going store this! Plus the battery needs to recharged every 3 months. Even with the additional maintenance, this is a very fun electric kickboard!

Long battery life, quick recharge
This is a pretty cool floating device. Easy to use. Excellent tool to learn to swim with. It allows you to lay flat on the board in the water.

Fun but doesn’t go very fast at all
The media could not be loaded. If you have thoughts of zipping through the water at 5 plus miles per hour, then you will be pretty disappointed with this Swimn S1 water scooter…But that being said they kids really did like it.It comes in nice packaging that isn’t just a plain brown box, and everything was neatly organized inside. There isn’t really any assembly, you just have to score the jet nozzles on which took a few seconds and that’s it. It’s super simple to get going, just plug it in for a bit until fully charged and your ready to go! It came almost fully charged and only took about 20 min to get completely done charging, thank god since my kids were chomping at the bit to get on it! There is a screw on cap that protects where you charge the battery and I’m already nervous we are going to end up losing it since it comes completely off, and you have to have that cap or it can’t go in the water, so make sure you put it somewhere safe while charging! To use it you just press the power button for one second and the light will light up that it’s on. Then there are 2 buttons where your hands go that you have to hold both down to get going and then you only have to continue to hold the one down while you go.I have an 8 year old that is big for his age at just under 100 pounds. And I have a 3 year old-almost 4, that weights about 35 pounds. The older one goes about the same speed as he can swim, so not very fast. And the younger one an go pretty good on it, though not fast. It’s a good speed for him to be honest, but the older one was let down by how slow it goes. You can flip it over and it will shoot water out of the jets, and the water it sprays does go pretty far. The kids had fun getting all the adults soaked! We got about a half hour of run time before it needed charged. And there is a 3 hour charge time.Overall it’s not bad. I would say a good age would be 3-8 years old, and weight up to 100 pounds, though you basically crawl at that weight. I honestly debated between giving this 3 or 4 stars. It’s expensive, and it’s bot very fast. But the kids did like it so I decided ultimately to go with 4 stars.

Little bit weak
I call this water scooter, but it does not matter as long as I like it or not. I have used few times testing out in the pool and the ocean with very light waves and wind. It can run over 15 to 20 mins towing a 180lb man with no kicking assist. And it pulled about as fast a decent freestyle swim stroke. I can really extend my time if I don't lock my hands around the throttles and use periodically. With fins, I can really keep on plane and steer myself as well as provide additional propulsion. Sometimes, my hands get tired holding the throttles down for that long of a time, but not a major issue as I think most would use periodically. I like it, but after few times use, while I am few feets under water the battery cuts off and leaves me breathless under the bottom of the pool, so I have to resurface and wait 10 seconds and then dive again. I bought an extra battery so I would have an extra 30 minutes, but every 5 minutes the batteries cut off, which can be dangerous if I am more than 15 feet or deeper under water. I just make sure sure to follow the care instructions and soak after use. Saltwater will destroy even the best made motors or waterproof seals. I also would recommend using this versus barefoot.

Lots of fun
This is lots of fun in a pool. We never used it in open water like a pond, for fear of what algae or debris might do (probably nothing), but in a pool it's surprisingly powerful and lots of fun.If you think of it as an awesome water toy, it's great. It isn't a jet ski, but it's plenty fun and everyone wants to try it. Hours of fun every time.Glad to have it!

3.5 Stars. Fun but pricey with lots of limitations. Not really built for larger kids or adults
-It says it's intended for children over 6, and will travel at 2.5 mph.-However, the motor isn't strong enough to pull a 9 year old very fast at all, nowhere near the promised 2.5 mph.-So I think the motor is simply underpowered. It's more of a swim assist for most children, it will not pull larger children or adults.-So this is build for a pretty narrow window of children - between ages 6 and 9.-For older children and adults, it will definitely keep you afloat like a normal kickboard, and it will assist if you're kicking. But if you're not kicking, don't expect it to pull you at more than a snail's pace.-We were testing in a swimming pool - if in a current, I suspect the performance will lag even more.-So it's a lot of fun, but don't have high expectations of how fast this can go.-One idea is to use it backwards and swim against it, as a training tool.-To convert from a kickboard to a water sprayer, there are plastic jets you screw on. I don't like that there are small parts that get separated from the toy - they should flip up and down instead, or screw them in the front when not in use, they are small enough I fear they will get lost.
