Non auguro a nessuno di doverlo portare per fare sport, ma se c'è qualche malcapitato come me che è costretto ad usarlo allora forse questa recensione è utile. Un anno fa mi sono rotto il collaterale esterno del ginocchio durante una partita (gioco a pallavolo), dopo una lunga fisioterapia ho potuto finalmente rimettere piede sul campo a patto che usassi un tutore che andasse a rinforzare il ginocchio. Questo tutore qua mi fu consigliato proprio dal fisioterapista e devo dire menomale che l'ho ascoltato. In termini pratici quello che fa è dare un po' di stabilità in più al ginocchio grazie alle due fascette semirigide ai lati. Non pensate funzioni come una ginocchiera, non protegge bene come quest'ultima dagli impatti e non pensate di mettercene sopra una perché ci ho provato e garantisco che non è comodo. In qualsiasi caso vi salva da quelle fastidiosissime bruciature che ci si fanno quando ci si tuffa. Inizialmente può risultare un po' scomodo da portare ma è una cosa di abitudine, inoltre è molto leggero e traspirante quindi non si impregna di sudore come una normale ginocchiera. Il prezzo è altino, ce ne sono a meno, ma per esperienza non sono molti quelli che non perdono elasticità dopo 4 allenamenti a settimana più le partite. Lo potete lavare tranquillamente in lavatrice. Occhio a come scegliete la taglia perché è importante, il mio consiglio è di non prenderlo troppo largo perchè poi vi cala mentre giocate, meglio qualche centimetro più piccolo

So I have gone through a number of knee braces riding bikes and this one seems to fit the bill. The other ones, over time, lose their elasticity and start sliding down as I'm riding. It took a little getting used to on my first ride and you must make sure that you place the brace exactly on your knee otherwise it will feel strange as you move around. It did not slide down and it didn't move during my whole mountain bike ride. The brace appears to be well constructed and the type of material seems to fit very snug so it will not stretch over time hopefully. It's like a set of wool fingerless gloves that are very smug. I'll update after a while to let readers know how it's holding up.

While I cannot say how much the knee support ended up helping the recovery, but it's comfortable to wear and feels like it adds 'some' support at least. Useful as preventative measure for sure.

Very happy with the knee brace, it helps alleviate my patellar tendinitis. I paired this with a weekly physiotherapy session for a few months and now my knee pain has subsided significantly. Playing soccer into my 40's is a much more pleasant experience.
