Fantastic carrier. I was a little nervous about the quality after reading the reviews but am extremely pleased with the purchase. The steel frame is only on the ends and support the whole structure when everything is zipped together. It has an opening on every side except the bottom, top and front have a firm plastic mesh closure, while the expandable sides are a more pliable fabric mesh, those may not last long if your cat likes to shred things. The bottom could be a little sturdier but neither of my cats weigh over 10 pounds so it works well for us. They actually love it and are treating it like a kitty condo.

Brought this travel bag in August 2017. Used it on a trip to Vegas. Served the purpose of getting our dog from one place to another on the plane. Haven't use it since until today because it was 5 degree outside and needed to carry the little fellow out to do his business. Had never used the strap before, only the handles. Well, the strap came loose from the attachment. If not for my quick reflexes, my pet could have been seriously injured. I mean it ripped right from the bag. Prior to making my purchase, I checked the questions and answers on the site concerning weight restrictions. It stated that 25 lbs was ok. Well, my dog is 17 lbs. If you love your dog, do not buy this scrap.

This was a surprise gift for Zoe's House. They foster dogs of all sizes. Lakin the owner, was extremely happy with this gift. They will be able to use the expandable dog carrier when transporting dogs from all over the country. It is wonderful that both ends open more extending the room. I like that there is so many holes for easy breathing.

It's durable and has room for all his things. He travels with me to work everyday, so there are lots of things in his bag. he can breathe and see so it's comfortable ( I think). Easy to keep clean.

This worked really great on the plane. My dog was able to lay down comfortably without feeling cramped like his prior bag. The frame on top doesn't cave in like other bags either.

I purchased this for my nephew's dog. Based on what I see, this will be great and it will allow the dog some space to move around and not just be the small carrier.

I was very pleased with the carrier and it's been in the living room for 2 months as my kitty loves it. Yesterday I had to take him to the vet and that was my first opportunity at actually using it. I was super disappointed the second I started walking with him in it, because the expandable sides which were zipped up of course (because I was carrying it) were pushing on the inside and my cat didn't have much room in there anymore. I was thinking of returning it, but upon further inspection, I just noticed that there is velcro on the inside to keep the expandable sides from pushing in! So really I must say, they have thought of everything. I love this carrier and feel really comfortable taking the plane with my cat in it.

Bought this for my sister who has two cats. There is plenty of room for both apparently. My sister is very happy about the gift.
