Best way to remove gel polish ever!
The media could not be loaded. Amazing!!! I have very thin nails and soaking with foils and scraping was tearing up my nails horribly. I used this machine and after 15 minutes, the gel polish just flaked off with my scraper. I tend to apply my gel very thick, so it takes a little longer for me to steam off. However, compared to the 30-40 minutes I used to spend soaking, the 15 minutes is not a big deal to me.It is so very easy to use. Once it warms up, the green light comes on. After 5 minutes, it beeps, after 10 minutes, it beeps again and the amber light comes on. Uses standard 100% acetone. I have heard some people voice concerns about using a flammable liquid in a product that heats up. First, there are rubber gaskets that you put your fingers through to keep the steam inside the machine. There is no really strong smell either. Second, acetone turns to steam at a lower temperature than water. To boil water, you need a temp of 100C or 212F. The boiling point of acetone is only 56C or 132F. So the machine doesn't get very hot at all. In addition, any unused acetone can be saved for the next use.In summation, I would recommend this machine to everyone who does their own gel nails.

Don’t buy. It’s not as easy as it is printed on the box.
I’ve used this 3 times since I’ve had it and it still does not work. When I first got it and tried it for the first time I didn’t work as intended. I followed the directions and still did not work. I don’t do my nails often but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt and try it again. The second time still same result. They say third time is a charm...... well third time still resulted in not being able to remove my gel nail polish off my nails. Had to soak at least four times til my fingers were all white crime too much acetone.I do not recommend this product at all.I wish I never bought it and I will stick to wrapping my nails with cotton ball and Reynolds wrap which is more effective and works every time.

The instructions are not good at all
Well, just got a chance to use this and though it does accomplish its purpose it is a little awkward. The instructions are not good at all, there are pieces in there that aren't even mentioned. I have my nails done professionally and just do them myself on occasion when I cant get an appointment so I am use to a steamer remover. This is a little high (higher than my nail persons) and so it isn't that comfortable to keep your nail in there. For the whole hand after 15 minutes, most of it came off/was softened but the thumb was barely loose. It is the awkward way you have to keep your hands that I think doesn't expose all fingers. I of course had to do both hands separately so this process where I can put both hands in the shop and takes maybe 10 minutes required at least 15 minutes on each hand in addition to an extra 10 minutes or so for each thumb. That's forty minutes. So, it does do the job but not that comfortable and takes extra time.

This is AMAZING!!!!
This is AMAZING and a HUGE time saver. I have tried the cotton ball and foil method and my nails HATED that and it took hours and a ton of acetone. This took me 20 minutes total and 5ml of acetone. That's it. And I even had big thick glitter gel polish on. It's super easy to use, add in your 5ml of acetone, cover the machine wait for the green light and the beep and place your hand in with a claw like grip, then wait for the machine to beep again. You can pull your hand out and scrape a little then or you can wait until it beeps again signaling ten minutes. I pulled mine out at five and did a little scrape and saw instant results. Fair warning, new machines, you sometimes have to cycle them a few times before they get really warm. I could tell after 4 cycles mine was warming up really well. So if you try it and you don't think it's doing anything, cycle through the heating up process a few times. I am so glad I bought this and now feel I can change my gel nails more often and quicker (and I can also stop trying to peel my polish off and damaging my nails because it was faster than the cotton balls!)

Updated review
Apr 2018: I was contacted by the company, as they believed I might’ve received a defective unit previously. I was sent another unit and have used it twice now. The polish comes off better than just soaking my nails in acetone. I have to steam my nails twice to fully remove the polish, but this definitely makes it easier than my old method. It’s not an absolute necessity to have, but I’m happy that I have this to make my weekly manicures easier.Jan 2018: I had high hopes for this product. I do my nails every 1-2 weeks with gel polish. I don't like soaking my nails in acetone for the removal, and when I saw this product, I was excited. With all of the positive reviews (and none that I saw were paid), I took a chance on it. Well, I have tried using it twice now, and the removal times have tripled from my usual acetone soak. The polish doesn't "just peel off" either. I still had to scrape and file which caused more damage to my nails than soaking them.I cannot discourage your purchase of this product enough. I returned it.

Meh!
Barely got warm. Certainly didn't "steam" my nails. I had glitter on some of my fingers, and those were hardly bothered by the process. The other nails came clean eventually, but only those that I could lay flat in the bottom. My thumb just couldn't come into contact with the acetone evenly enough. Because you can only work with one hand at a time, it took more than twice as long than had I just soaked with foil wrapped fingers. Waste of time and money.

Works well for removing shellac manicure at home
I've been getting my nails done at the salon for long enough that it no longer feels relaxing, it's a pain to sit there for over an hour. I got this so at least I can watch a show or something while I take them off at home. I bought the CND remover after seeing a review by milabu online suggesting it.You have to completely take off the top coat or it does not work. Also, when I was patient and gave it a solid 10 minutes it literally slid off my nails. Some areas needed another round in the steam so I wouldn't have to scrape them. The kit comes with the tools as well, I didn't realize this and it was a pleasant surprise!
