Great gift for kids wanting to prank parents
Not realistic up close, but good enough to catch someone off guard.

Success at keeping birds away
After knocking down a newly built mud nest from my porch light (made sure there were no eggs first), I lined the top of the light with one of these snakes to deter another nest. More than 2 months have passed with no new nests! The birds inspected the snake a few times but nothing further than that. Didn't need 3 snakes but appreciate having the extras if a friend wants to try one out.

You Get What You Pay For
Smaller than expected. They measured out as advertised but still expected more.

The birds! The birds!
The media could not be loaded. The bird poo in my neighborhood had gotten horrendous! I'd awake EVERY morning to at least 2 new lines of poo after having rinsed the car the day before (bird poo can be overly harsh on auto paint). I was fed up. I turned to Google to learn what I could do.....enter Amazon. Mocking the presence of a natural predator was a Google suggestion so I ordered the rubber snakes. I strategically place one on each side mirror since the birds seem especially fond of perching here. I'm on purpose to drape tail over the mirror so they can't gaze. Success!!! Not a single poo incident ( it's been weeks) since I started placing the snakes each night when I retire for the evening!!!

Realistic looking
These snakes are very real looking. They are very soft and you can put them around plants and trees.

As a toy they are fine but as a deterrent to critters in the garden they’re useless
I purchased these because of the many reviews that stated they help keep critters from digging in their garden but this hasn’t been my experience. I’ve had squirrels and chipmunks dig right next to them without any concern of being eaten. I made sure to move them daily so as to confuse the critters in my garden but no luck. I wouldn’t recommend them for this purpose. If you want them for a child then they are fine but don’t count on them to scare away any problem critters in your garden.
