I needed a pump to move water from a flooded boat (the bilge had died and there was a LOT of water that I needed to empty). This pump works very effectively. You do need to prime it as per the instructions. The pad allows it to sit nicely and get down to about 1/4 inch of water depth. If I were to order another, I would get one with an off/on switch. I knew this didn't have one based on the description, but it would be nice to have especially given the need to prime the pump before plugging it in.

Does have a high pitch whine which is unnerving, but works great. Pump out of my ibc totes with pump on top and has great pressure at 25ft (max suggested length). Comes with 6ft inlet hose (but 3 ft max suction height), a flat triangular inlet strainer and a replacement impeller, but will probably order 2 more impellers to be safe.

The DEKO 1HP Sump Pump is powerful and handles high water volumes efficiently, The float switch works well, and it’s easy to use. However it leaks a bit. Overall, a reliable and strong performer for the price.

I've been using this pump for a couple months to use my rain barrels to water my garden. It works great. The flow is good enough to water, but I wouldn't put a sprayer on the hose. I don't think it has enough pressure for that. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Strong pump, good value, minimum water pump height too high. I sent it back because the pump will not activate until there is quite a lot of standing water. If you're OK with 4" of standing water before this turns on, it's great. Not ideal for my use of pumping overflow water from a pool cover cavity.

I saw some people saying it's loud but my damn. It sounded like a pterodactyl. There's no way I would have been ok with watering my garden at 7 am with that thing screaming at me!I had it for maybe 3 days and it just stopped sucking up the water. I followed the directions and even had my husband double check my work and it was just a bad pump.Imo skip this one

This is a great little pump for the money .Get over the fact that it’s Made in China , there ALL Made in China , even newer model Pony pumps ( Little Giant). The same pump or better quality then the one sold at Princess, for at least $20-$30.00 less and that’s when it’s on sale there . This one in particular was a refurbished or a return , never been used . It has amazing lift for a small pump , I’m asking it to lift about 8’ or so, and it gladly does the job . I’m using it in my outside drain which is at the bottom of my outside basement entry . Cover it slightly when it rains, as it operates on the principle of air and water cooling. Note :: It is a loud pump ( high pitched whine) but it screams if it runs dry . The impeller ( parts included) is a breeze to change . I use a waterproof grease to lube the impeller when I assemble. Longevity, I’m not to sure about , but I definitely like what I see .

The Deco sump pump is a compact but powerful submersible pump. It comes with a multi-sized hose fitting suitable for 1", G1, 1-1/4” and 1-1/2" hoses. I purchased this pump to drain my above-ground swimming pool, so I trimmed the fitting at 1-1/4” and attached the drainage hose from my pool sand filter. The larger the hose, the faster the pump can remove water.This pump is fitted with a float switch designed to turn the pump off when the water reaches a certain level. If you don’t need the auto-off, you can leave the float switch pointing upward, which puts the switch in off mode.I have only used this pump a few times so far, but it appears to be well-made and highly efficient: it drained my 15’ x 30’ pool to the halfway point in less than two hours.So far, I am pleased with this pump. It is lightweight, efficient, quiet, and reasonably priced.

It works well but boy is it loud. We use it on our rain barrel so it’s outside but still quite loud. I’ll have to come up with some container for it to reduce the noise. Otherwise it puts out great pressure even on a 50 foot hose.

Pump arrived without attachment advertised to connect to hose. Also stopped working after 2 months so get the warranty
