Worked for me!
I'd definitely recommend this blue shampoo to get rid of orangey tones in lightened brown hair!I'd used box dye to dye my hair from its natural darkish brown to light brown, but after just a few washes, my hair was looking sort of copper/orange in certain light. This shampoo was recommended in various online magazine articles, and was a good price, so I decided to try it. I was dubious about the claim that it would show results after just one use, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the orange had pretty much disappeared. I've now used it twice, the second time a week later, and can't see any coppery tones now. I left the shampoo on my hair for about 3 minutes after lathering both times, so that was enough for me. And I used my usual conditioner afterwards, and no hint of dryness from the shampoo. As for whether the shampoo stains at all, it left no trace on my scalp, forehead, ears etc. and washing my hands immediately, as instructed, while the shampoo was on my hair, meant that my hands weren't stained either. There was a hint of blue around my finger nails, but a quick brush with a nail brush got rid of that.

Colour changing
I had bleached blonde hair with a 3 inch root growth & because of covid no hairdresser so went back to brown, the colour faded quickly on the bleached hair so redid colour & ended up with red/orange where the 3 inch growth was so bought this which actually took out the some of the colour in the length & highlighted the red/orange, iv used this 3 times & given up as it just doesn't work for me which is a shame cause John Frieda blonde toner does work for me but sadly not the blue crush

Very good. Works as advertised.
Does a good job at removing orange tones from hair, and it's more potent than other brands I've used. Will definitely buy again.

Dry hair with minimal difference
Can’t say it made huge amounts of difference. A little maybe? But it did make my hair incredibly dry and breakable. I’ve spent months using Olaplex to fix my hair and it was working wonderfully, but this definitely had a bad effect. Still haven’t quite fixed it and my wedding is in 4 weeks. Lots of moisturising treatments!

It does work
It works for me. Definitely tones down braissiness you have to leave it on for 5 mins before rinsing I use this 2-3 times a week, not damaging at all hair just feels dry after rinsing out but its fine again after conditioning.
