Sometimes It Works, But It Depends . . .
Hubby has lymphedema in his legs; it is extremely difficult for him to stand on them, much less walk on them. Getting him out of his wheelchair isn't easy, and getting him out of the passenger seat of the car is impossible. He did not like this sling AT ALL, but he is very gun-shy of anything he can't immediately trust. (It took him months to get used to the hand grip helper gadget that he now uses to help him out of the car.) He says the sling pulls him straight, when he in fact needs to be pulled UP more than straight, and makes him feel like he's toppling over forward. Instead, I have to reach around behind him, grab the waistband of his pants, and pull him up, which he claims the sling won't do. His rating on the sling would be zero stars; it is I who feels differently and would give it five (because I believe it COULD work); thus I averaged it out to three.

Decent product but limited
This would be difficult for a smaller person to lift a heavier one up off the floor or out of a chair. The mesh section is HD and will make it comfortable for the person getting lifted. The straps seem a little lite for anyone weighing more than 150lbs. For most people this will work well most of the time.

Not sturdy
We thought this was a good sling because it worked as expected at first. We did not use it every day. Our return window closed Jan. 31, but the plastic end of the clasp broke after that. This made my husband slip down. We almost dropped him. He weighs 225 lb. The description says this holds 400 lb. We're disappointed. This company reached out to me, saying they would refund my money or replace the item. I still have not received anything from them. Beware!

A life saver for caretakers of people who have neurological movement disorders
My father has Parkinson’s and this has been a life saver. Helping him out of a chair, among everything involved with moving him. It also can be used to help him sit straight up in the chair at the dinner table, as we can strap it around him and the chair. Now he no longer leans to one side. Highly highly recommend.

Easy to use patient sling.
We have a "sit to stand" lift that came with two substantial harnesses. I cannot put them on but this little one is easy to use for me. Every morning I pull my husband to the edge of the bed so he can stand on his own.

Very helpful a great tool
Very nice quality and sturdy construction. I am the caretaker for a family member who has become a paraplegic. He has no use of his lower torso and legs. This lift sling is a definite asset to the care of this man. I use it to help him in and out of the bathtub. It's also useful when having to transfer from the wheelchair to the bed. I has many adaptations and advantages

Great buy!
This is exactly what we needed for mom. She has not been able to lift herself and take care of her regular needs and she is a heavy lift. This band has helped us to lift her with ease and I’m so glad we found it.
