Responsibility Star Chart | Customize for 1-3 Kids | Magnetic Chore Reward System

The beauty of this chart is the FLEXIBILITY. Little folks can get overwhelmed with so many things they MUST DO every day to be successful. Well, what if mom and dad have errands to run one day, or someone has a doctor's appointment and doesn't have time to get their chores done? With a traditional chore chart, they lose the whole week because the day didn't go as planned. With this chart, you are successful when you get to a number (we use 30 stars for our first grader) and the kiddo can essentially "make their own success." It works out great for them - builds decision making skills, brings in lots of positive reinforcement, lets them have a level of choice. Ours loves that he can earn something he wants (right now he wants a Beyblade Launcher) and he counts up his stars daily.Last, it is a sturdy, quality item. All of the magnets stay put, the marker works great, you can hang it anywhere.WONDERFUL chart!

LOVE this! I have a 1.5 and 5 yr old. Love that the names are magnetic so you can customize the chart to be for 1, 2 or 3 kids. Responsibilities have little pictures to make it easy for kids unable to read to know what they are for. My son (5 yrs) is learning to read, but even without trying I asked him to tell me what each picture meant and he got all 12 right. Chose this above several other brands because of the versitility and options it has. Board is completely dry erase so you can make up additional responsibilities. Only thing the boad doesn't have I would recommend they add (and don't think the other ones have this) is a running total spot to write in so the kid can see how many stars they currently have to know how close they are to their goal or to carry over a "star balance" from a previous week. Other than that, has everything I wanted and I am a picked person.There was a picture on here, maybe an older model which caused confusion when I ordered. I emailed the manufacturer and not only did they resolve my problem immediately, but they also removed the inaccurate picture. Very speedy resolution and great product! Very satisfied!

We have had this chart for less than a week, but already I am incredibly impressed with it. The materials are really well made. The chart allows for 3 different children to have stars. There are some really well made pre-made ideas for stars like “read a book” and “tidy up room”. They are super cute. And then it comes with a dry-erase marker to write your own things as well. For instance, we give a star for memorizing a daily Bible verse and helping with little brother. The chart is great because our daughter can see what she is accomplishing from day to day and how she will be rewarded accordingly. I’m already seeing an improvement in behavior.If I could change anything it would be the star colors- yellow, green and orange. There’s not really any colors in there that my daughter loves. Even blue would be great to have in there. Additionally, the string included to hang up the chart is actually two short strings. We had to tie these together to make one long string. Appearance-wise that doesn’t look the best, but really it’s not a big deal.

I bought this for my two girls who are 5 and 7. We seem to be constantly reminding them to do things that they know they should be doing on their own. The chart is a great visual for them, set up in our kitchen, the hub of our home, where they can see it often and add their own stars as a sense of accomplishment after each task is complete. Once they each earn 30 stars for the week, they get $3.00. I rated the durability as four stars because the board was slightly bent, but it is very thick, durable cardboard that I don't doubt will hold up over time. The magnets seemed like pretty good quality as well. Great value for the price!

We were having issues with my 4 year old hitting at daycare and my 3 year old wasn't going #2 in the potty. We got this chart and added "no hitting" and "no #2 in pants" as the reasons for getting a star. At bedtime we give them a star for each task they completed that day. Within a week the issues stopped! At 40 stars they get a toy or a special outing. We started at 20 for the first few weeks to get them use to getting something for good behavior then moved to 40. They are now excited to brush their teeth, clean their rooms, etc. Using the chart and positive reinforcement they are learning responsibly and consequences for their actions. Even if you are not having behavioral issues I recommend this chart to teach responsibly. Great value and it teaches life lessons.The magnets are strong and do not fall off. The marker doesn't stay on the chart well so we put it away in a drawer but that is a small drawback.You get three different color stars so it would work for up to 3 children. Also, the tasks that come with the chart have pictures so the kids know what they are even though they cannot read.

I really like this chart! I’ve been using it for my 3 & 5 year old kids. Most of the tasks it comes with are pretty age appropriate and it’s a good motivation tool for them. I stuck it on the fridge so when they come ask me for screen time, all I have to say is “let’s check the chart” and they already have tasks/chores laid out for them.The durability is fine as long as you don’t let kids play with it too much. The board and the task magnets DO bend and will crease. We haven’t had that problem since I always keep it on the fridge and we only move the stars.Overall, really happy with this product! It’s been awesome that my kids have been able to get in the routine of checking the chart themselves and it definitely takes some of the mundane responsibilities off my shoulders.
