Good choice for room lighting
Very efficient, nice color, small enough to fit in any ceiling socket. In general, Great Eagle lights are quite dependable.

Really bright!
I love the brightness of these light bulbs. I put them in the light fixture above the sink in our bathroom, and the entire bathroom is so much brighter. We are not young people, and the more light, the better. I intend to change out the bulb in my reading lamp for one of these super bright bulbs. I didn't rate the energy efficiency because I am not qualified to make that determination.

Great Light in Dining Room and Kitchen
The brightness in the light bulbs is great! They really light up a room better than my regular light bulbs! And a lot LESS wattage than regular bulbs too! I would recommend them to anyone!

Maybe a bum set? Produces ghoulish, flat light.
I have some great eagle A21 bubs that I like to use in areas I need some bright task lighting and thought I'd try these to replace some lower lumen Reveal bulbs. I got these in the cans one evening and after turning them on was really disappointed.The light throw was really narrow and greenish. It gave everything a ghoulish look seemingly sucking the color out of the room. I was surprised as I bought the soft white set too and they are neutral-warm, very bright and actually improve color over the Reveal. Needless to say these went back to Amazon.

Good, but not for dimming
These were pretty good, but I thought I'd made sure they were dimmable. But, while they do dim, it's not smooth. Towards the bright end, it dims slowly and is still about half strength when the switch is at about 10%. Then it jumps way down quickly.So, good for the majority of the house, but if I need something dimmable, I'm going elsewhere...
