yes the blind stand is a stand alone unit. The blind cover is an optional add on!

no, blind will have to be 57.5 x 57.5 wide x 60 inches high. This is my 2nd one and I am very pleased with the blind, first one is still in use after five 3 month seasons in MI & WI If your stand is with in about an inch of these measurements (BUT NOT OVER) then it should work for you. Good luck
