This was the perfect solution to raise the height of a Current USA Satellite Plus PRO 48" over my ADA 120P Aquarium. It's a nice minimalist design and works well with the aesthetic of even a high end aquarium. I wanted to write a review because I'm sure others are looking for similar solutions. It was an added bonus that this didn't break the bank. You'll need to remove plastic endcaps of your light fixture to pull out the black mounting legs of your existing light, then reinstall them and push the new stainless steel rods in place. I used heavy duty wire cutters to trim the excess stainless steel rods once I was sure of the height.

Best option for its Price Range
Great little light stand. Looks fairly inconspicuous on my Mr. Aqua 12gal long rimless tank. My plants are even my plants are doing better with the increased high of the light. The main reason I purchased this item was because my cats love drinking out of the fish tank and would continuously knock over the light onto the floor to get to the moving water. So this was a helpful cheap solution to this problem. My cats have yet to knock over the light now, and its easier to feed my fish and do water changes with the increased height. My only concern was it doesn't feel that sturdy and its not as refined as I would've liked, however for 12$ you can't beat this product.

Will fit your Finnex LED. 1 minor modification for framed tank.
Wanted to raise my Finnex LED and this was the perfect solution, better than hanging the light up because this look really clean. This stand line up and fit my Finnex planted + perfectly, very stable as well. Some people complain about how the plastic base wont fit on a framed tank, an easy way to fix this is simply cut the inner plastic tab by a few mm (picture attached). Have to take one star because the L shaped rod is not straight out of the box and needed some bending but really easy to do with bare hand. So overall you will need some minor modification to this light stand if you have a framed tank.

the product is great. Has a set screw on each leg
Double check the size of your light! I didn't even think to look at the hole spacing for my LED aquarium light, so upon receipt I had to modify the stands to make it work with my light. See attached photos.Other than the 5 minutes with a pair of pliers, the product is great. Has a set screw on each leg, as well as two clear plastic screws in the feet itself (part that sits on aquarium) to help keep it from shifting. Due to my modification, these screws to help secure to the aquarium were critical, as I reduced the footing width so it will naturally be more top heavy now.I even set my back legs a bit higher to angle the light toward the back of my 10 gallon tank. Nice having that option.Really a great product, just make sure it works for your light or are willing to modify some!

Came used and does not fit a framed tank
I bought a new product and it arrived with the poles punctured through the bag and all of the screws and the screwdriver sitting in the main bag with an empty smaller bag (presumably the bag that should have contained those parts). I figured I would just make it work, but... it does not fit a framed tank. In fact, it doesn't fit a 40g breeder at all. It would have been nice if the product description had mentioned this.

Not as described
Came missing all of the screws - only received the two brackets and rods and no mini screwdriver as shown. Don’t think it will adjust to fit a framed 75 gal aquarium either. Gave it two stars ONLY because they agreed to refund our money once they receive the pieces we did receive back. Was so disappointed since other reviews made it sound great, wouldn’t recommend.

It reaches across and holds on strong
It extended the reach so I could use my finnex planted 24/7. I bought my light when I had a smaller aquarium. When I upgraded my aquarium, I didn't want to lose the nice light, so I invested in this. It works as described and was easy to install

Worth the money
This is actually a very handy kit, and a good value for the money. I've used it for both of my aquarium lights. The only drawback is that the legs are very long and typically not perfectly straight. I use a Dremel tool to cut off the excess length, however, so it looks better on the tank. And you can use a variety of tools to straighten the legs enough to use.
