Parragon Disney Frozen A Sister More Like Me

Gorgeously illustrated spin-off book for Disney's Frozen. You can read this without having seen the film as it ties only lightly into it. This book is mostly focused on the sister relationship of the main characters Anna and Elsa and how you can do things differently but still be amazing together and why, ultimately, it can be great to have a sibling who's nothing like you. The text is delightfully nursery rhyme-ish and very relatable to almost any sibling relationship. My preschool son and daughter both love it being read to them and pointing out things they do differently themselves. Five stars for being a great book for both boys and girls.

This is a very pretty picture book, with a story told in verse. It tells the story of the relationship between Elsa and Anna – of how they don’t understand each other and long for a sister, “more like me,” but gradually come to appreciate their differences and love each other for who they are. This would be ideal for sisters, as well as for fans of Frozen. It is lovely to read aloud – there isn’t a great deal of text (a few lines on each page) but the words used would probably be difficult for young readers (‘elegant’, ‘preferred’, ‘poised’) unless they are quite fluent. As a bedtime story it is beautiful and the artwork is lovely. Ideal for ages 3+.

This is a very sweet book, and made me cry because the story is similar to me and my sis who now lives over seas. I think this might be just as good to buy for some adults as it is for children, if the story has relevance to themIt came quickly and in perfect condition..

I got this for my sister and then wrote on each page how she was like Elsa and I was Anna. She loved it so much!The pictures are beautiful, the story is perfect for two sisters who are opposite of each other but need each other.
