Works great, BUT a big caveat
Used a hanging flower type feeder before, but then honeybees found it, so decided to try this feeder. The good:Easy to assemble. Then to clean/refill, just hold down the hanging rod and pop the top off. Doesn't swing as much in the wind. I use one shot glass of sugar/4 shots of water mix. Fills reservoir up about half way, have had zero spillage, unlike the hanging flower type that dropped mix with the slightest wind. Easy to clean, unlike the previous one that was a PITA to completely disassemble to clean/sanitize. No honeybees, they can't get at the juice. Trap in the middle prevents bugs crawling to the top. I fill the trap with 1 1/2 shots of water. Easier to hang. The hanging rod has a generous loop end that is easy to pop on the hook. Old one had a small S hanger that was harder to catch on the hook; annoyed me enough that I replaced it with a bigger one I made out of coat hanger wire. The caveat: I notice the reservoir gets dirty quickly. One time it had something that looked like a bird poop loaf floating in it, wondered HTF that got through one of the feed holes?!? Since it gets dirtier quicker, it starts to form mold sooner. I usually toss a good amount of mix due to this. Old one stayed clean till empty. But at least it's easy to get the grunge out with dish soap/clorox, then a thorough rinse out.Overall I much prefer this feeder to the old one.

2 Pack Hummingbird Feeders
I don't get a lot of Hummingbirds in my area, but there are a few that make frequent stops during the day. I've tried a few feeder designs and I find that these feeders really work for me. Here is my assessment:They hold up to 12 ounces, but I don't have to completely fill it that much to be able to feed them. This helps with not wasting the homemade sugar water (boil 4 cups of water, add 1 cup of sugar, cool then add to feeders - the left over goes in the refrigerator for a few days and is ready when I need to wash/change the feeders. Don't buy premade/store bought food- the artificial colors and preservatives are not good for them).I like the overall design. It's red on top to attract the Hummers and clear on the bottom so that I can see how much food is still in there. The flat top allows me to see when a Hummer lands to feed at any port. I have not experienced any problems with leaking or it coming apart. It is very easy to clean. The only thing I don't like is the lack of an angle of the ports on top. The open holes are just on top which allows a little rain and pollen to get in. This isn't a deal breaker because I always take the feeders down and wash them after the rain anyway. I've been experimenting by making a dome over the top (take a plastic bowl, put a hole in the middle and hang with wire above the feeder) to see if that would help with deflecting any rainwater. It seems to work okay and the Hummers don't seem to mind it. Because of their light weight, I did notice that they swayed pretty good in strong winds, but not enough for any concern or loss of food. So, overall, I really like these feeders and would recommend them.Happy Hummer Watching!

Very sturdy feeders
These were shipped in a box with a gallon of weed killer. I thought for sure they would have been crushed. They are so well packaged that they were just fine. The hummers love these because of the little perches on the lid. It allows them to sit and rest while feeding. These are easy to clean and are very sturdy. The hummers are very pleased with my purchase!

Great at deterring bees
Over the years I have purchased all kinds of hummingbird feeders. And usually most of them work well. In our home in Maine, the biggest issue are ants and an ant moat works well. When at our Tucson, Arizona home we have a terrible problem with the ports being totally covered with bees and the hummingbirds seem to have a difficult time feeding. I bought these saucer style feeders, filled the little well with water, and Lo and behold, no more bees congregating on top of the ports. A few have drown in the little well.

product design could use improvement.
I gave this product 3 stars because of the moat. The basic concept of this feeder is great however, the moat is pretty much worthless. It is very difficult to clean because of its small design. My fingers don't even fit to clean it. Also, if the moat is over filled the water leaks out. Ants are able find a way to crawl over it and into the feeder. Perhaps the height of the moat should be raised to hold more water and the circumference widened for easy cleaning.
