Adult Coloring Books Set 3 Pack – Landmarks, Henna, Butterflies and Flowers

I saw these displayed on another website by other amateur artists and I thought I'd order some books and give it a try. In my search for quality designs these were the only books that seemed to have various levels of skill in each book and for a low price. The designs are amazing, take some thought before beginning. The paper is of quality stock not run of the mill coloring book paper.I bought 6 of their books to start. I've completed 8 pages and am just thrilled with the results. I've never been a 'coloring' type artist, mostly painting or woodworking. Speaking of which, I am trying to convert one design into a woodcarving print for a project..The only negative is I wish each design had it's own page front and back and perforation to tear out. I know this would raise cost, but I would pay for quality and uniqueness..Definitely earned 5 stars from me

I love the smaller, square size of these books. They are thinner than I expected, but they are printed double-sided, and there are 20 pages in each book, so that's actually 120 images! Also, the paper is very thick and high-quality. You can't use alcohol markers (those will bleed through any paper), but light application of water-based markers or gel pens would probably work fine in these. I use colored pencil, which work beautifully on this paper, either soft (like Prismacolor) or harder (like Crayola) lead types. The images are gorgeous and so unique! Outstanding line art quality. Most are very detailed, which I love. I've only completed one page and I already want to get all the other sets.

This is a very nice set of adult coloring books. The designs are beautiful. What I like the best is that the designs are not overly intricate as in many other adult coloring books which for me personally does not relax me as it makes my head hurt :) just trying to figure out which color goes where and it takes too long. The designs in this set are challenging enough to make it interesting but simple enough to make it it a relaxing and rewarding experience rather than like work.

What I like:1. The designs: From very intricate and beautiful to slightly less detailed easier images. However, most of the designs fit into the more intricate category. They are fun, challenging and some are a bit educational. Requires patience and a steady hand. There are 40 designs per book. HENNA: has some really detailed pictures squared to 7.25 inches. Lots of lines and squiggles that even an expert can really enjoy. LANDMARKS: includes name of landmark and location. Fun...because I have actually been to several of these landmarks. BUTTERFLIES & FLOWERS: An artist's creativity can spring to life with personal preferences to make a really smashing original picture.2. Nice smooth and sturdy medium weight white paper3. Good size book to grab and go. (8.5 x 8.5 x 3/16 inches) Will easily fit into a a small tote bag, backpack, large handbag/satchel or just hand carry.4. Most designs have thin lines as opposed to bold black thick lines. Bold lines do work better for some gel pens, but fine ones work best for colored pencils which is my preferred coloring tool.5. The cover picture is included in the book….actually twice if you wish to color the copyright page….like I did.6. Designs take on 3-D look with some color combos.7. Love the Butterflies and Henna books. The Butterflies and Flowers book might require intermediate skills while the Henna book contains some designs requiring a very steady hand and practiced skills. It is definitely more of a challenge for me.What I did not like:1. The 3 pack set was so thin that I initially thought I had received only one book. Upon much closer scrutiny, did I realize that the super tightly wrapped package contained three books….not one. The set is 9/16 inches in thickness (just over ½ inch), and each individual book is 3/16 inches thick.2. Shrink wrapped which gives topnotch protection for shipping, but frustrating and difficult to remove without damaging a book.3. Pictures on BOTH sides of the page4. No perforation for easy removal of pages5. Book will not stay open, while coloring, without “bruising” the spine or weighting down the opposite page. A con for many coloring books. The corner of pages curl if left unattended.6. Slight bleed-through with dark gel markers7. LANDMARK book pictures are filled with oodles of horizontal & vertical lines that induce crossed-eyes and cramping hands if one tries to color all the spaces BETWEEN the lines.8. The advertising blurb indicates a bonus weekly image of sneak peek via email of forthcoming adult coloring books. I have only received one so far; however, it was a duplication of one from this set of books. Not a biggie….just sayin’Overall: Fun...challenging...make for lovely end product...and has been known to contribute to shoulder/back pain/eye strain. Does that take away from the stress reducing application? I would happily have given a 5 star review to this set of lovely books if there were perforated pages and only one design per page.What I used: Papermate InkJoy 1.0 mm gel pens...Lolliz gel pens, 0.6-1.O mm….June Gold 2mm mechanical pencils.

I bought these for my husband who is in a nursing home and needs to keep busy. I really like them and I know he will too. Best of all they were a good value for the money

They are very thin, pictures on both sides of the pages, and you have to crack the binding to get it open enough to color. The pictures are okay, but just okay.

This set of adult coloring books is fantastic. Forget about the old fashioned pictures in traditional coloring books using thin off-white paper. These pictures, all printed on heavyweight pure white paper, challenge the imagination to make them into glorious pieces of colorful art. I can spend a full day working on one picture, but that's because the pictures are so detailed with tiny sections, and it takes a long time to carefully fill in all the areas while still keeping a sense of color balance. I'm sure it will take me quite a while to get thru the entire adult coloring book set, but I will certainly be enjoying every minute of it.

Devo confermare che i libri da colorare sono perfetti per rilassare la mente, aiutano a scaricare la tensione e l'ansia, sono una scelta perfetta contro lo stress e per superare situazioni che, a volte, non si accettano. Vanno bene per i grandi ma non sono male neanche per i più giovani. Grazie mille
