BUILT NY Munchler Lunch Bag - Lefty (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

What a great product. This is a fun way for your child to take a snack/lunch to school. The size is just right, it fits a standard 16oz water bottle w/room for what ever else you pack. I love how it completely unzips for easy cleaning and can be used as a mat. I saw a similar product @ a local store that didn't unzip all the way around for $14.99, which is a lot more than the cost of this one. The quality is similar to other lunch bags nothing more, nothing less. The price for this lunch/snack bag is a great value!The measurements I took are 6 inches in length, 8 inches in width & 3 1/2 inches in height.

I ordered "Lefty" for my nephew, and "Benny" for my son. I had difficulty with both zippers as soon as I unpacked them. I can't see a little kid being able to deal with the zipper by themselves. Also, as I was trying to zip "Benny" up, part of the zipper came un-stitched. I probably should have returned it seeing as how I hadn't even cut the tag off yet and had to sew part of the zipper back on. But we'll give it a try, it was only a little over $5 anyway.There were a lot of comments about size when I was considering them. It's totally a good size. I could see fitting a sandwich, apple, snack, juice box, and granola bar.

Hey, I love Lefty and the gang. It's a great lunch bag and opens up as a placemat. I was able to put 2 portions of breakfast for my 2 boys to bring to school. I tried putting in a water bottle and a lunch box on one occasion and it works just fine. I have no problem with the zippers, but not too sure about the kids. Maybe the teachers would have helped them with the zippers at school. Whatever it is, it's a great buy and I eventually bought Meadows as well so that both boys can have their own lunch bags. The teachers love their lunch bags too.

it was hard choosing between the different animals. and a great price too! it is lighter than traditional insulating boxes, so that's nice. and it has a cool zipper thing so it can store flat when not in use. much better than the whole stack of thermal lunchboxes and coolers i have in the baement. i would say that it holds about a day's worth of food/snacks for one small child, not too much more. but i really like it.

My son loves this bag! He runs around the house yelling, "Where's my puppy bag, where's my puppy bag?"! It can fit a sandwich, snack and drink without a problem. The part I love best is that it unzips to lay completely flat and is a perfect place mat. Easy to clean with just a quick wet wipe and then it zips back up into a bag. My son loves to carry it by putting his wrist through one of the ear flaps. Needless to say it is his favorite bag for food or toys!
