I was looking for cargo shorts with a nice fit, length, and with nice pockets. The first pair I ordered from another company, just had flaps and no actual pockets! More of a “cargo style”. I wanted the “real deal” and these shorts were the real deal. Comfortable for trips in the car, bus and other situations where you are sitting a lot. Good for walking, hiking, shopping, etc. phone and ID fits securely in zippered pockets. 2 zippered pockets on front of legs, two zippered pockets at waist. Easy to care for. I ordered multiple pairs. The sizes are pretty much true, but I like mine a little larger for activities, so ordered my size and a size larger depending on the activity level of the day.

I searched hard for the just right nice to dress casual shorts WITH ZIP UP POCKETS. HERE THEY ARE GIRLS/Women. Their a between a Bermuda and the just above that length style short. The pockets are mesh lined w/ sturdy nylon zippers 2 large deep front 2 shallow back. Drawstring elastic front waistband. My waist is a tad bit bigger so the lower part of the shorts are baggy on me but that’s how I have to order for a 5’9” stature. The material is lightweight and cool to breathe. I ordered: TRY BEFORE YOU PAY to make sure they fit and I liked. I did it worked out grate ! Black was my choice.

The navy shorts were the most recent of three pairs that I've ordered. Overall I love these shorts. The thigh pocket is reasonably secure for my large iPhone. The fabric is slippery, so sitting down I've had the phone slide out of the pocket occasionally, and it's not large enough to zip it closed. These wash well, and they're holding up fine to regular wear (and with horses and dogs, I'm fairly hard on my clothes). I wouldn't want the inseam to be any shorter, though these are long enough to maintain my dignity. I love the multiple pockets, as I can carry my phone in one thigh pocket, my wallet in the other, and not need to carry a purse to the store or a restaurant.The navy pair is about a 1/2 size smaller than the other two, however, which is enough to make them a little snugger in the waist than I find comfortable (I'm generally closer to a size 6 than a 4). The colors aren't especially true to what's shown on the page either. The purple is very definitely a wine color (more maroon than purple). I ordered the dusty blue and it looks more like the "regular" blue color sample.Overall, I will purchase again, but I will check the sizing BEFORE I remove the tags and wash them. The adequate phone pocket is such a major consideration for me.

These shorts are so comfortable.I wear them for hiking, kayaking, and playing Pickleball. Perfect for any use.

I ordered a small and medium; decided to keep the medium. I am 5'6, 158# and usually wear a small in this type of shorts. I might have been ok to keep the small but opted for the medium as I felt more comfortable in that size. Love the dusty rose color, material is soft, love the zippered pockets to keep items secure. They look very nice.I sent the blue back only because it was almost the same color as another pair of shorts that I own.

I haven't had these long enough to give a 5 star review yet, but so far I am pleased with these shorts. I bought them strictly for sports, I sweat like no other woman I know, lol. so I needed a quick dry short that wasn't too short, if you know what I mean. I am in my later years and won't go out in public in anything too revealing. The pockets are an added bonus and are holding up well though I don't put anything heavier than a pickle ball in them. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is that the wrinkles never seem to go away and I don't know how these shorts will hold up long term. The wrinkles don't bother me but I know it would be a deal breaker for some. I wash in cool water, gentle cycle with no fabric softener as per care instructions, then line dry. I am not brave enough to let them touch the dryer but I can say that it doesn't take long to air dry them anyway. I was pleased enough to buy more than one pair and hope I don't regret it long term.

These were purchased to run around in on the farm. I wanted pockets and shorts that didn’t show major dirt. These fit the bill. The fit is not flattering, but hiking shorts are functional. I got what I paid for.

The pair shown were actually substituted with a different make with only two pockets, but I really like them better, they are a nicer cut and two pockets is just fine for me. I assume they were out of the ones I ordered, but this worked out fine for me.
