Our amplifier is a little over 9 years old, now. No, I don't want to throw it a birthday party. I just wanted to give y'all an idea as to WHY I bought this cable. Being an older model amp, ours doesn't have Bluetooth. So, I use the Aux. input when I want to stream music from my phone.Each separate input channel has it's own settings. So, by using the Auxiliary input, I simply programmed how I wanted the sound output to sound without worrying about having to switch my custom settings every time I need to use our DENON on a different channel (ie... TV, BluRay, PC....). I COULD have purchased a bluetooth module that would have plugged into the Aux ports; however, we're planning on getting better tech this year, and it seemed like a waste of money to buy a bluetooth module when I could get a cable for so much less.I've been quite pleased with this cable. There's no sound distortion or limit. The heads that plug into the R/L ports fit securely and maintain full contact with no issue.I also LOVE the fact that this cable's head plugs into my Samsung Note 9 headphone jack with ease without having to remove Otterbox-like case. Again, there's no loss of sound or any distortion. This seems like a pretty decent cable for the price!

The item arrived quickly, however, it stopped working out of one side of the speakers with in 2 weeks of use. I tried using it with multiple different phones to see if the sound was just on one device, however, it was not. I know the item is not priced very expensive but I would hope that something would not stop working within 2 weeks of utilizing it. The item isn't even something that you would use all day everyday either so it's pretty disappointing that it already stopped working correctly.

I used this cable to connect my Amazon Echo Dot to my older Surround Sound Unit which only had RCA connections. Now I can play all the music I listen to inside my home, in my backyard. The surround unit I connected it to controls, my outdoor landscape speakers. The best part about it is I can use the Alexa app on my phone to control the dot and don't need to walk inside to tell her what to play.
