Oyster with Pearl Inside, Freshwater Cultured Oval Pearl Beads (5-7mm about 18pcs Pearls) Gifts

It was like the discription said. We got more pearls than expected 31 to be exact. Not all perfectly shaped but thats nature. The inside of the shell was beauriful too. I'll be making jewleey with the pearls and displaying the shell in some artsy way.

They lack shine and luster, and are way too tiny. Also, the smell of the preservative and oyster itself was awful.

So I am a teacher and I purchased this for my class to open later in the semester. On Amazon the seller states, "You can store it in a cool place without putting it in the refrigerator." So that's how I stored it.Well let me tell you, when I opened this package I nearly vomited. I am a biologist/farmer/vet tech, so I have experienced some of the worst smells you could imagine during my life. I do hundreds of dissections with students each year. This was nothing like I've ever smelled, reminiscent of long dead rotten seafood. The organs inside were severely decomposed, reduced to basically tissue goo. It was AWFUL. It stank up my whole classroom for several days.I have purchased other oysters like this from Etsy, and they were preserved and held up fine. This one is apparently not preserved, so if you leave it in a cool dry place it will slowly decompose and rot. If you buy this, store it in the freezer!

There were lots of pearls inside this oyster. Some were decent sized and some got pretty tiny, but since we were using it as an illustration and craft for our ladies event it was perfect. Definitely recommend. The color of the pearls was a beautiful creamy, pink color.

Got this for my granddaughter for her 6th birthday and I was surprised first of all that I even found it and how cool it was . She asked me for a real pearl still in the shell for her birthday and that's exactly what she got and then some. She ended up with 26 pink pearls all different sizes from one shell. Dad had to help her open it and the edges were sharp and cut her finger but other than that it was the best gift I could have given her. Not as messy as I expected it to be either which was nice.

I used this for my Sunday School lesson and it was awesome! It’s one big oyster and the pearls are inside. The kids got the pearls out and washed them off with a wipe.

The smell. It was so bad we were all gagging. But wanted to see the pearls. Very hard to open. Small pearls. They smell also. A cross between decomposing animal and the worst cow pie smell. I currently have my hands in gloves with the best, strongest smelling soap. Hoping the smell will get better. Leaving pearls outside. Maybe fresh air will help them. Disgusting waste of money.

I ordered two of these. The wgite ones look terrible. There is no shine or luster to any of them. Some are very tiny. The pink ones are pretty and have shine but many flaws. No info was given as to what to do with them now to make jewelry. Smell was horrible but expected. Wear gloves (not included).

Ich finde es ist was spezielles und besonders, wenn man so nicht die Möglichkeit hat, solch eine Muschel am Strand zu finden.Unserer Seits weiter zu empfehlen, für alle Altersklassen.
