Coil hum is normal. But being young, my ears pick up hich pitched noise, like a tiny kettle boiling. didn't expect it, but people say it's safe.I bought Walnut one, it came somewhat brighter and less brown than the picture, but i don't mind enough.i really like the design, don't change it.

This is a lovely product, I bought the oak version. It's obviously made from wood, but has been finished very well so is quite smooth. It is tactile as you would expect from a wooden product. Underneath are two semicircular rubber strips that mean the charger sits securely on any flat surface without slipping, just don't forget to remove the protective film! I like the nice touch of a discrete, flush mounted, LED which tells you if there is something charging (blue) or not (red). The supplied white USB-C cable I measured a generous 190cm which should allow it to reach a wall socket and mains USB adaptor (not supplied).I found that almost all the Qi chargers I looked at were plastic, which is fine in an office, but if you want something more discrete which you might put on a side or coffee table then natural products such as wood are more attractive. There are other wooden Qi chargers that Google shows are available for a lot more money!Finally, I like the all-cardboard packaging which reinforces the eco friendly approach of this company, if you scan the QR code in the box they promise to plant a tree which is a nice touch.

Use this with my iPhone 13 and Apple mag safe case. If you don't hit the sweet spot on the unit - it does not do its job. You need to align precisely. In terms of looks, it is great versus the plastic varieties. Quite a lot to pay just for looks when there are cheaper and better quality flat chargers on the market

I love the look of the device and was really hoping it would work. However, it is very hard to get it to charge my phone reliably. You put it on the pad and the blue light comes on meaning it is charging. Then it starts to flicker - this is particularly annoying when you are in bed at night. It then goes red meaning not charging at all. I have tried it out of its cover and its no better. I spend ages trying to get exactly the right spot for it to start charging - I am going to buy a long charging lead instead. Unfortunately we have missed the return window as it was a Christmas present.

Great idea and lovely design, unfortunately the wood colour was not as expected or indicated online so unfortunately I had to return because it just didn't look right on my cupboard.

Really nice looking charger - the wood with integrated charging light looks great. Bit slow in terms of charging and you have to position the phone just so in order for it to begin charging, but otherwise happy as a supplementary charger.

Nice little product, wire is a good length, not entirely wireless as I first thought (you still need to have it plugged in at the wall) but still easier if your plug is a bit far away and looks great. It is a bit fiddly to find the right charging spot, you can’t just put it down without looking, it is a bit sensitive but it’s fine

Flashing blue light means it now won't charge my or my wife's phone. Both phones charge on our other wireless stand so this product is obviously faulty. Have tried to contact the seller through Amazon but have not received a reply.A £30 coaster.Avoid.Still no response from either the seller or Amazon. Poor.
