I had been struggling taking potassium citrate tablets (6 a day) which are HUGE tablets, for recurrent kidney stones. My nephrologist kept telling me that Stonestop was coming out soon and she was so excited about it. Finally after several delays it hit the market and I switched to that. So much easier to take, no more choking on those huge pills, and at my last visit all of my urinary lab values were vastly improved to the levels that my doctor said I don't need to do another thing except continue Stonestop every day. If anyone tells you it has no taste when mixed with liquid, they're telling you a fib. The taste is the only drawback for me, you just have to try different liquids until you find the one that masks the taste the best for you. I settled on orange juice but it has a lot of sugar that I'm not interested in, and drinking 16 oz. of orange juice twice a day would be ridiculous anyway, so I mix the Stonestop with just a small amount of orange juice and then chase it with a big glass of water to get the amount of liquid it needs to be mixed with. Not perfect but it works and sure beats the giant tablets I used to take.

I have this powder every day. When I went to my kidney doctor he told me he was happy that I was not creating stones again. If this will help me not create stones I will be using this for years to come.

I don't know if this really helps or if it is just a hint of flavor to make you drink more water, I just read that on the box... Hmmm on the other hand it ways it is a medical food...

Won’t know if this product is effective until the kidney stones fail to develop. My urologist recommended it so I’m assuming (and hoping) it does work. It is easy to take and has a light vanilla taste.

You need to flavor it.It doesn't taste good at all moonstone.Flavors their stone stopper but they can't keep up with demand so if you would flavor this that would be awesome right now like lemonade something

I was on four large Potassium Pills twice a day for Calcium Oxalate stones and hated taking them each time.My urologist suggested I switch to StoneStop and I love it. It tastes good and also helps me hydrate. I would recommend StoneStop to anyone who has stones

Stonestop was recommended by Dr Assimos of UAB Uriology Dept, kidney stone specialist because of my repeated episodes with stones. So far it has helped tremendously. I add 1 pkt to a bottled water twice daily and shake well. I am fine with the taste and the cost through Amazon is much cheaper than ordering directly to the Stonestop LLC and much faster to receipt of the product. Unfortunately Amazin has not had the product lately and site states it is unknown when the product will be offered again. I certainly hope Amazon adds it for order very soon.
