I have several Beaver Craft tools and think they are a good purchase for the money.They stay sharp with just a leather stropping so far. I’ve never had to put one on a stone to sharpen it yet!If you dull or chip the blade like people say in the reviews you are using it wrong. They are not for prying. Just for thin slices or whittling. Use your pocket knife for prying chunks or scraping off bits.

The knife arrived super fast and even came with bandaids. Not only that it was super easy to use. The tip of the knife was perfect for detail and the length of the blade was amazing to use to knock off larger chunks of wood. The handle was very comfortable and the whole thing was light and very easy to adjust your grip. Overall great product and would definitely recommend.

This is a great knife for the $10 price. Overall the blade came in sharp and from the first few cuts it is of good quality. My first impressions holding the knife I found the handle to be quite uncomfortable and quite bulky. I fixed this quickly by sanding down the handle on a belt sander. Like I said for the price point you probably won't find a quality knife for this price, overall I would recommend beginners to get this knife along with a detail knife to start carving.

Full disclosure: I won this knife in an instagram contest.This knife is awesome, I entered the contest in a whim because I was wanting to get into wood carving. When I received the knife I was impressed with how balanced it felt and how comfortable it was in my hand. And this thing is SHARP! I’ve done a few practice whittling sessions and I’ve really enjoyed how easy to use this knife is. I will be buying other carving knives from Beavercraft in the future. Their prices are spot on, too! You won’t be disappointed with these knives or the company.

I love it. This brand of curving knife always coming with two pieces of band aid which I feel some kind of fun. The quality of knife is good!

Beaver Craft has made a very nice carving! It’s sharp, hence the bandaids, light and easy to handle, I would recommend it to anyone who is a beginning carver or other wood worker. As a professional guitar maker, my only compliant of this knife is the is handle, it isn’t very ergonomic and the shoulder where the blade enters the handle has a tendency to get in the way while carving. If you are a more advanced carver, I suggest that you replace the handle with a new one. Don’t let this criticism stop you from buying this knife, I still give it a 5 star rating, it’s a good, solid knife!

I recently started with woodcarving again after years away from the hobby and discovered BeaverCraft on YouTube. Several tutorials and 2 knives ordered later, I followed them on Facebook, where they will occasionally do give aways. That’s how I got this set. I know nothing about chip carving, but with these tools, I’ll definitely want to learn. The handles are comfortable and fit well in the hand, the blades are sharp right out of the box, and the carrier had enough space for my other knives.

Finely crafted tools but one of them did bend slightly after maybe an hour of chip carving. Beavercraft is a great brand for beginners in terms of having toolkits for specific types of woodcarving; however the free templates/guides don’t include many chip carving patterns which was a bit disappointing. But would buy again

Die Aufbewahrungstasche riecht extrem nach Chemie, hier denke ich sofort an China Ware..Ob die Messer etwas taugen?Wenn schon die Tasche minderwertig ist, kann es um die Messer nicht besser gestellt sein!
