Bought to jazz up a dark purple knitted jacket l am making. l find with dark colours they need that little boost.So l am knitting a 1974 style double breasted jacket l found in an old magazine. l was looking for a pattern to take up my knitting again after a long holiday from it. l now want knit wear for shopping/dog walking instead of my usual heavy winter jacket. Hence the dark purple choice of colour. (some colours are a good idea at the time. 😞 ) However these buttons placed against what l have knitted so far look fantastic against the dark colour. Will post a picture once completed. Cant wait to wear it.... So far these look 5 star hope they do last.....

My wife is an avid knitter and buys lots of buttons. Even she was surprised to receive these lovely substantial buttons without any visible means of attaching them. The back was completely flat with no holes. The fault is ours, but the description of the buttons is quite long. Only on careful checking do (Flatback) and (Shank) become obvious in the separate entries. The shanked ones are fine.

I wanted these to add to a blouse but they are too big at 15mm. They are lovely though so keeping them. I should have ordered 9-11 mm.Delivery was very quick so very pleased with my purchase.

Photo shows these are buttons with a shank - these are button embellishments! Not what I need! Will be processing refund

Unfortunately, they are too small for a jacket. Keep them for future.
