just installed today for outdoor covered deck
Fans look beautiful as expected. Only disappointment is we have to be outside to use the remote. They don't work behind the glass.

Ok if you can make it work
I spent approx. $2400 in 4 Modern Forms Fans including two of these and two of the Tip Top 52.I don't know why they are cheaper now but with the light fixture and the remote it cost me approx $850 each plus the installation with a professional electrician. So probably $1000 each one of the Aviators. You would expect the best performance with such expensive fans. The best of both worlds, the reliability in the mechanical fan and the convenience of its technology. The two more expensive Aviator 5s, after try and try again doesn't work properly:One of them, I was able to connect it to the cellphone app and I can operate it from the app. Nevertheless it cam with a wall switch which it didn't work either. The second Aviator 5 fan, the wall switch did work but I can connect it to the app. The absurd part is that the connection fails after I type the Wi-Fi password. It keeps telling me I have the wrong password. I have more than 35 devices that at any time connect to the Wi-Fi network. Therefore, the password isn't wrong.I bought additional wall switches, and failed to connect the same way.I guess I have to buy two Lutron Caseta Smart Fan Wall switches and make it work, at least from the wall and with Alexa. It sucks expensing so much money to make your place look nice and realizing a $150 common ceiling fan would worked better and from the get go.2. The Tip Top 52 came with Bluetooth remote controls and, they don't work if you are not connected to the house Wi-Fi.It is easy for me to make it work with an Alexa voice commands with the factory remoteGiven they came with garbage remotes, I bought two Lutron Caseta wall switches to make it work from the switch too.
