Teknor Apex 1094716 NeverKink 8617-100, Heavy Duty Garden Hose, 5/8-Inch by 100-Feet

Used for watering gardens that are away from my home

January 2023This hose was easy to unravel. I stretched it out (easily 100 feet) and let the sun flatten it out. After I let it lie on the ground for 2 days, I wrapped it around my hose holder (attached to house) with ease. It is very sturdy and I look forward to years of use. I recommend,

Nice durable hose but it does kink. Not as quickly as other hoses.

I stretched out my new 100 ft. hose, and though I didn't measure it, it's certainly shorter than the previous 100 ft. Apex Neverkink hose that I'm replacing. Quiet a bit shorter.

Have owned for less the 2 years and all seem great in terms of hose function.We live at 9k feet in Colorado where climates can be tuff on things but hoses areperformingas as they should.

this hose was $75 bucks i bought it in nov 2022...4 months later it has blisters...a pic is attached...its also way to heavy and thick to drag around and it doesnt coil well in my reeler gets stuck constantly!and yes it DOES kink....would NOT reccomend!

Third one of these I have bought and not because the previous two have failed - it’s because they keep outliving my hoses from other brands and they are built like tanks. Buy these.

I almost didn't buy this hose based upon other reviews but decided to take a chance because it has the features I needed at a great price. If you've read other reviews then you know that some people reported that the hose arrives "pre-kinked" due to the plastic tie straps. Well, ours arrived exactly in that manner. So, the first thing I did was to cut off the tie straps and then set the hose out in a sunny spot for a few days. Then on a warm afternoon, stretched it out and let it sit another couple of days.Within a week no kinks or depressions were visible - you cannot tell where the tie straps pressed against the hose. So just be patient. :-)
