Bought this too for our family “top spinning night”. Everyone wanted to spin this top. So easy to make it spin a long time. Very quiet! Most of the time you can’t even tell it’s spinning. Hardly any movement! Incredible!

I really love it.

This was a great buy! I was looking for a good adult fidget and I am glad I found this. The top has a super cool color changing appearance, which looks great when it spins. I have been able to get it going for 3mins15secs on my tv tray. I am a first time top buyer so I don’t know much, but it is well weighted and feels solid and has a nice little point for it to spin on.

Good top, spins twice as long as the cheaper $8 Cheetop top I purchased (which I still like). I have both black and silver colors in medium and prefer the silver. The black color is enamel that can wear off which is why I gave 4 stars not 5. If I had only seen the silver I might have given 5. The silver/steel color looks cooler because you can see the lathe lines. I probably will order the large version

Came promptly, and already I can get 3.5 minute spins, using a concave mirror I already had. I feel that this design is improved by the knurled shaft and the ball-bearing contact point, and the balance seems good. The appearance of the stainless version is great, and since it isn’t ferromagnetic, it should stay that way.Update; Note that the top does a lot of precessing (contact point traces circles) before settling into a pure vertical spin. Not sure how common this is on other tops.

This thing spins great, and it feels quite satisfying to the hands. The machining is smooth all over, I don't feel any rough spots. I've been playing with it almost daily for the last few months and there's no discoloration of the body from handling and no loss of spin time. Overall greatly satisfied, especially for the cost.

It'll spin for a good two minutes or so. Does especially well on stainless steel tables smooth stone surfaces. I dig it. I bought the large stainless finish top.

If you're on the fence and you've never owned a metal top, buy this immediately.Full disclosure: I spun a metal top for the first time yesterday. I bought 3 different tops in 3 different materials: zinc alloy, brass, and tungsten. This top is not as dense as the solid tungsten one, but (due to the size) this one is heavier. The design of this top makes it easier to spin, and the balance seems to be superior.My first spins barely lasted 15 seconds, and there was ZERO chance of any of the tops staying on the tiny glass lens I bought to spin them on. I didn't have the technique right. Once I started thinking of it as a "snap" motion (rather than a twist), the game was on.After a few hours of intermittent practice, I have (in addition to a rather sore index finger) a personal best of 3 minutes and 43 seconds on glass.My average spin exceeds 2 minutes on the relatively soft laminate surface of my desk, and this top can easily exceed 3 minutes on glass. It's a great product, especially for the price. I have no doubt that with additional practice, I'll be able to break 4 minutes.Edit: My new personal best with this top is 4 minutes, 11 seconds. Five minutes, here I come!

This is a second Gyro spinning top that I purchased. I think the weight and width makes a difference. First spin it was over 5 minutes. So it can be longer with more practice. Definitely recommend this item. Remember they comes in 3 sizes. This one is the largest that they offer. 34MM. About 43grams in weight.

Did not receive the product shown in the images displayed in the advertising. They came with the cheaper higher wearing steel ball bearing contact point and not the harder superior Silicon nitride referred to in the attached images in the Amazon advertisement. The best spin time achieved on concave lens glass is only 3 minutes with a lot of effort. I already own the cheetop version with silicon nitride and they spin regularly at 6 minutes on the professional glass base. The knurling on these cheap tops are also slippery reducing further your ability to spin them. Amazon need to amend the advertising and delete the reference to the professional silicon nitride contact points. Not happy, therefore I rate them as 1 out of 5. Only suitable for very young children.

Does the job very well, product exactly as described by seller. Can highly recommend. Fun toy.
