Cost a little more than the others I saw on Amazon but it was worth it. Easy to install by my handyman and I have not had any issues.

We needed an outlet to plug a T.V. in so it works perfectly. Don’t make the same mistake I did though and place the other outlet directly behind it because there is not enough room it needs to go above it. If you look in the second picture you will see my mistake, but I don’t really care because you won’t see it and I’ll fix it later. Your holes don’t have to be perfect, but definite follow the directions. I used a multipurpose tool to cut the wall and it made things go much quicker.

I'm going to start by saying, I am not using this the way it was intended. I just needed a power inlet plug.I have a Leviton Structured Media Cabinet that serves as the central wiring spot for my entire network. All of the cat6, coax, modem, router, etc. are mounted inside that box. It had a normal, mains-powered 120v outlet inside, but after adding all of my gear, there wasn't enough room for a battery backup unit. (UPS)So rather than powering the outlet inside the box from the mains, I'm basically using this kit as a power inlet. An 850va UPS sits on the floor outside the cabinet, plugged into a normal power outlet. The extension cord from this kit plugs into the UPS, and then the special romex/in-wall extension cord from the kit runs through the wall to the outlet inside the media cabinet. It all works perfectly.In the past I have accomplished the same setup by just buying a power inlet plug and a matching plate, for about $10. But it seems no one sells that anymore. This kit had all of the pieces I needed, just for a much higher price.

This was exactly what I needed for my install. Cord length was perfect for me, it was easy to install with the right tools, and felt very sturdy.

The instructions were clear. The pieces that had to fit together were snug and tight. It works exactly as described.Note that you need to feel comfortable measuring and sawing drywall, and snaking a cord through it.

The custom setup I wanted behind my tv was a little too custom to call in an electrician, so I used this kit to DIY and to allow me to complete the project. It worked perfectly. Now it will be easier to call in an electrician down the road if I ever want to get the custom setup hardwired, but for now this works great.

It was easy to install and provides the needed power for our newly wall mounted TV. Looks professionally installed and neat.

No other products available to compete, so the seller hijacked the price. This is a monopoly with a good product. if you need to connect APC (surge protector) to fireplace TV and audio system nothing is better.The AC cable is only 1 meter long, though and I had to add an electrical box with another AC wire to extend the range.
