I’m 56 and do not wear foundation. I do not like feeling anything “on top” of my skin! I don’t like “anything” to come off if I accidentally rub my chin with my sleeve! Bottom line, I’m super annoying when it comes to makeup! I want it to not be harmful to my skin, pref good for it and look amazing 🤷‍♀️ THIS IS IT...if you relate to any of these. I’ve been using this for years now and doubt I will ever top it. You decide how much coverage you need that day and build. This powder is so amazing because I just start with a well hydrated face and a good face brush and Voilà! It is imperative that you continue to blend this powder in circular motion until it disappears as it’s dispersed ...at least you think it does...it magically blends into your skin, no lines of demarcation, no uneven areas...just keep blending it to almost a creamy LIGHT consistency. More coverage? Then tap your brush and apply another layer. I suggest you start using very little at a time. Don’t be impatient bc chances are, your skin is uneven. You will learn the areas where to go a little heavier and slowly keep blending in a circular motion. If someone doesn’t like this product, I’ll bet money they don’t know how to apply it. Find a bare minerals video on YouTube regarding how it works, and you will love this powder. I am a dark skinned white woman (Italian) and still tan in summer 🙈 I use Sandstone 16 all year! I just use more or less depending time of year. It’s excellent for any age spots bc you can literally take some on your pinky and apply on an age spot and gently blend with a small fluffy eye brush, kind of like a concealer. Buy this with confidence. I have pretty sensitive skin and have never had an issue with this powder. I love it! (Can ya tell?). EnjOy! Peace ✌🏼

I've been using this product for over a year and after originally purchasing for a higher price at Ulta, decided to order on Amazon. Price and convenience of ordering online aside, the product itself is wonderful. It feels light on my skin, is not cakey and noticeable, and is an excellent match for my fair skin tone. I've also noticed a decrease in acne breakouts when using this product and it holds up wonderfully to humidity. I am a teacher with bus ramp duty and when outside in wild varieties of southern weather, my foundation stays intact and it looks like I'm not even breaking a sweat (even when I am MOST DEFINITELY nothing but sweat).

I love the way this goes on and stays on. It’s a awesome product when used with the brush that is made for this compact foundation I have used bare Essentials for more than 10 years. They are all great products and worth the extra money. This compact foundation does last a long time

I'm 28 and have never worn foundation until now. Even now I only use the bare minimum. This compact powder foundation by bareMinerals looks great on me and I like how it feels. No 'caking' or 'cracking' like some people seem to experience with powder foundations. Granted, again, I only use a very small amount, which could be why I haven't experienced any typical problems that usually go along with wearing powder foundation. *Note* I use a clear makeup primer by Bodyography. Wonderful primer, so perhaps this has helped.Even still, I really like this foundation and think it's worked very well for me. I bought the shade 'Dawn' and it matches my fair, freckled skin tone almost perfectly.

This is the only foundation I have found that matches my skin perfectly. Not really happy that my shade was discontinued, but I stocked up as I don't want to try to find another makeup match for a while.

I've only used once. Bought too light of color. I do love the coverage and feel of this powder. I will keep buying when I find the right color for me. I gave this to a friend.
