3m Micropore Paper Tape - Tan, 1" Wide -1 Roll [Health & Beauty]

This tape worked great on SO many levels!I had Mohs surgery for a lesion in the middle of my eyebrow. My surgeon recommended I use the 3M paper tape and told me there was a tan version available. Using this flesh-colored tape (with gauze packing in the wound) enabled me to go to work the next day with my thin hair "drooped" over my eyebrow, without a single person seeming to even notice I had a hole in my face! It made for a very discreet "Band-Aid." I am very fair-skinned, but this tape becomes somewhat translucent once its adhesion gets more "set," allowing it to somewhat assume one's natural skin color.It stuck very well for the entire day, even with sweat dripping onto it from above at times, yet the removal was gentle enough not to rip my delicate facial skin.Also, I tend to react poorly to tape adhesives, yet this tape left no irritation or redness! (BTW, I have used other brands of "paper tape" in the past, and the adhesion was pathetic.)As the wound got smaller, I progressed to the 1/2" wide version of this same tape, which was equally terrific!I think doctors' offices should give this tape out in their "wound care kits" (when appropriate)!

This is great surgical tape. I got tired of trying to find bandaids that 1) stayed put, 2) accomodated specific or unusual wound sizes, 3) didn't cost an arm & a leg. I solved that problem with this tape, cutting it to fit and adding a piece of non-stick pad to make my own custom bandage (from spot to oversize) for a fraction of the cost, and the added bonus of not having to store numerous boxes of specialty size bandaids that, frankly, never seemed to be the correct size. Bonus...this tape stays put until you take it off. It can even weather a reasonable amount of water such as showering. Win win!

I saw a recommendation online to use this to help make the part on a wig look more like scalp by concealing your hair that is underneath. Basically you figure out where the part will be, apply a strip of this tape TO YOUR OWN HAIR, and then put the wig on. This worked well and removed easily, leaving my bio hair intact.The only reason I took off a star on my review is that I found this process a little difficult and have not been doing it every time I wear my wig. I realize this is not the intended use of this tape, but I hope someone else will find this idea for using it helpful!

I love that it doesn't stand out on my face. The white tape looks terrible and is just so obvious. I bought another slightly padded "tan colored" tape that was too puffy and didn't really stick well. This is perfect for anyone that has a wound to cover and hide.

I bought this tape to put over my incision site where I had surgery to keep it protected from irritation, and it worked. This tape has very good adhesion, it definitely has staying power. Even after getting out of the shower, considering the tape was soaked, it was still pretty difficult to pull the tape off to get the new tape put on. It doesn't say the tape is waterproof but it tried to stay on even after a 20-minute shower, I had to remove it because my incision site had to stay clean and dry and it does hold water. I did learn one thing, do not try and remove this tape by applying alcohol to loosen the adhesive, it melts the tape and turns it into a sticky gooey mess that is a pain to try and get off. But if you are looking for something with staying power this is a good choice. Also, I am typically irritated by the paper tape that my lab sometimes uses on me but this 3M tape did not bother me at all, no redness and no irritation on the incision site whatsoever.

I bought this for surgical incisions postop. This is what was used by my doctor directly on my incisions. It didn’t cause any friction or damage to my incisions putting it directly on it . Afterward, I didn’t start to use a gauze until after a month postoperative. When I did start using a gauze, I then used the tape to hold the gauze & it worked fine. Taking it off was quite easy using a cotton ball with alcohol.

I wanted the 3M blue label tape because it has a different stickiness consistency than the green label. The photo shows blue but received green. THIS IS CALLED FALSE ADVERTISING WHICH IS ILLEGAL! But NO RETURNS AVAILABLE!!

Funcional

This tape is great, i've always used it but in stores it's usually only white it's hard to find a tan colour which blends in with skin better. It is good quality and perfect for preventing blistering while hiking, or in new shoes, or taping existing blisters and scrapes. comes off if it gets wet very easily, and will fall off if it gets wet while worn, but if pulled off dry can leave a glue residue which is hard to get off. very breathable, thin, paper like, and easy to rip. highly recommend.

I have been using the product for a while and no problems at all.

This is a great tape for scar healing after surgery. Really helps to flatten scars while healing while also allowing skin to breathe
