MSRDeepDish Camping Bowl

I purchased this bowl for my backpacking kit. Pros: dimensions and weight; vertical walls; nests my Soto Windmaster stove, ferro rod, cleaning pad, and 1 oz soap bottle in my MSR ceramic solo pot while protecting interior pot finish; easy to eat out of and clean. Cons: More yellow green than displayed - not a deal breaker for me. Perfect for backpacking. Strongly recommend.

I lost the green bowl out of my Msr cookset, this was the exact replacement. I cooked some chili on the campfire, and used this bowl to eat it. Worked perfectly, and was very easy to clean.

Nice, durable camp bowl that nests well inside the MSR DeepDish plates. Lightweight and easy to clean. Should hold up for many more adventures.

I like these bowls. I don’t take them when I am ounce counting as I tend to eat out of the bag, but when car camping or doing a shorter hike with my family I’ll bring them. I have a wife and 6yo boy who come with me and I give him a portion of freeze dried meal in the bowl so he doesn’t crawl all over me for access to the bag. Inside of the bowl is smooth and cleans easily. However if it ever gets scratched you may have a hard time really cleaning out the scratches after eating.

It fits the 1.7l pot perfectly. Also, when below freezing, good to throw some warm water in there and put the fuel canister inside when cooking. Helps with cold weather depressurization

I like a decent size cooking pot when cooking for 2 on backpacking trips. Not sure how people put up with cramped 0.9L or 1.1L pots or stomach the exorbitant cost of titanium cookware. So, I use a cheap but sturdy Open Country 2 quart aluminum covered kettle which is only 8oz. I bought this particular MSR bowl solely because it nested perfectly inside my Open Country kettle. My stove and cup fit inside the bowl and with the top on the kettle, that was my entire kit for a 2 person trip to the Bridger Wilderness in WY back in August (my travel partner was already bringing his own bowl & cup). Ate breakfast and dinner out of the bowl each day and it served that purpose well. The plastic is just about the right thickness . . . not thin and fragile or thick and over engineered. When flipped upside down, you can use the bottom as a small cutting board. Hard to go wrong at the price.

I have used this bowl at home for patio dining, not for camping, since the pandemic, but it is still very useful. A nice size, sturdy and easy to clean. It gets the job done.

Ich habe mir die Deep Dish Bowl gekauft, in der Hoffnung, dass ich sie in meinen Töpfen unterbringen kann. Ich habe Glück gehabt und sie passt perfekt in den 775ml Topf.Darin kann ich dann noch mein Besteck (Titan-Faltgabel und Faltlöffel oder MSR Form und Spoon) unterbringen. Ebenso etwas Spülmittel und einen kleinen Schwamm und meinen Benzinkocher (Primus Omnilite). Der Pot kommt dann in den 1.6l Pot mit einem Microfaser Tuch und ich habe eine, wenn auch recht schwere, Küche für 3-4Personen...naja, Besteck hat ja jeder selber.Preiswert, robust und passt super. Das Plastik ist auch relativ starr und so eiert nichts rum wenn man mal eine Heisse Suppe einfüllt. Schade finde ich nur, dass kaum ein Hersteller die Abmessungen von Ihrem Produkten anginbt. Volumen ist nicht alles wenn man die Sachen ineinander Stapeln will.Wenn man etwas kompaktes und leichtes sucht, aber nicht Unsummen für Titan und Co ausgeben will ist es durchaus eine Option.

Kleine Ergänzung für den Systemkocher.Zwar auf gut Glück bestellt, passt jedoch hervorragend auch unten auf den Reactor 1,7 Topf!

sea to summitのﾃﾞﾙﾀﾎﾞｰﾙも持っていますが、やっぱりMSRでしょってことで、購入してみました。色は画像のとおり、きれいな水色という感じでかわいく、作りもしっかりしていて、裏のMSRの刻印が所有感を満たしてくれます。ただ、sea to summitのﾃﾞﾙﾀﾎﾞｰﾙと比較すると、底側面の丸みやｽﾀｯｷﾝｸﾞのし易さから、ﾃﾞﾙﾀﾎﾞｰﾙのほうが上と思います。

コッヘルに付属していた食器は底が狭くなっているので、小さいガスカートリッジしか入りませんでした。これは円筒形なので大きい物が入って燃料切れのリスクが回避できました。機能には満足ですが、他に比べて高価なので満点ではありません。

オプティマス123R SVEAをトレック900に収納し、その底にスタッキングしてます。容量はカップヌードルリフィル出来上がりにぴったりです。
