Ready to Use Exterior Cleaner Algae, Mold & Mildew Removal & Prevention for Roof, Decks, Driveways

Citra Shield worked great on our decks! We have always had a problem with mildew growing and our decks just not looking how we liked. After trying many different products we figured we might as well try one more and it actually worked! We didn’t have to do any hard scrubbing just sprayed it on and left it and it actually seems like it’s working even better over time. It did seem like it took a bit to start but once it did it still hasn’t stopped.We did have to purchase a hand sprayer to apply it with but now that we have one we can use it again and again. The ready to go mixture was perfect as I’m always nervous that I’m mixing the wrong amounts and this one was worry free.I’m excited to see how long this product keeps going! According to the instructions, the surface must remain dry for 14 hours after applying the product. Last winter, we experienced a continuous period of wet weather, lasting three weeks. As a result, moss grew extensively on my stairs, creating a dangerously slippery situation. Despite the lack of 14 consecutive hours of dry weather for the product to take effect, I decided to apply it and observe the outcome. To my delight, it worked! In less than three days, my stairs were completely free of moss. While the product performs even more efficiently in dry conditions, it proved surprisingly effective during the persistent rain.

Blew my expectations out of the water! I took a try and used this product outside of what it says it can do, and the results were awesome! My issue - I have a northern facing house, I had shingles put on my roof a good 8+ years ago and due to the lighting and shade around my house the roof stated to grow algae and moss. I sprayed this stuff on my roof with a cheap hand pump spray I picked up from Tractor supply. Within weeks and without even power washing or touching the roof, My roof looked brand new. The moss wilted, turned brown, and then into dust. Any signs of green algae was completely gone. Its been 9 months since I sprayed my roof with this and I still don't have any signs of algae or moss growth. It went through a snowy winter, rainy summer and a hot an humid summer and is holding up beyond my expectations. I plan on spraying other areas of my house with this stuff. The only reason for not giving it a 5th star is that its expensive. $32 for a gallon is a bit much don't you think?

Product is easy to use. I belong to a non profit that is revitalizing a historic cemetery. This product did well on our test spots, and stones . Smells decent , and ships easily. One application and several weeks later, stone ( grave markers) are easier to read, lichen is gone. Great Anti-biologic !

I've used this product now for three years. The complaints I see could probably be fixed with some instruction changes. The product eliminates the STAINS left by mold, mildew, and algae, but it doesn't do a good job actually killing those. I always pre-clean with bleach and water mix, a pressure washer, or both. What the product does is eliminate regrowth for some time. (I believe it says a year, but I get better than a year.) As to damage done to plants - well duh - I guess they could use a caution against that, but based on smell, usage etc... I can't imagine a lot of people with some gardening IQ would spray it on plants and not expect damage.
