i am a newbie to the vast and expanding world of smart devices & after searching and researching the best product for me and my needs i was thrilled to land on these iBright wifi smart bulbs with their versatility and unbelievable price! i couldn't believe my luck...i ordered them 2-day prime and i have to say i haven't been so excited to receive an item like these right here.when they arrived i couldn't get them out of the box and screwed into my lamps any faster...but once i began attempting to connect them to my wifi i hit a wall & failed for a few days almost giving up. but today was the day i was going to figure these things out if it was the last thing i ever do...for some reason the devices weren't connecting to my network even though i knew it was possible at 2.5ghz because the day before i had connected a wifi security camera without issue...but for some reason, everything i tried was failing and rather than give up on such a cool product i put my macgyver hat on - determined to finagle whatever settings possible to make them work.what ended up finally working was the addition of a wifi range extender with both 2.5 & 5ghz settings...so i KNEW that i could control where the bulbs were attempting to connect; as i had introduced an entirely open wifi network-extension just in case they were too far from the router or the bandwidth was too crowded with my other wifi camera connected in the same place. once i was able to connect the app itself to the newly broadcast wifi extension (2.5ghz) the bulbs practically connected themselves and FINALLY showed up in the app where they belonged without any further problem.the app is quite intuitive & provides clear enough instruction and detail to get started with the fun-tastic lighting fiesta. as a new smart device user i was/am impressed with the range of adjustments and settings from within the app to create whatever mood and ambiance you can imagine. in addition to the lighting settings, there are a plethora of automation with variables ranging from time, weather, mood, task, individual timing, timers, alarms, changes to the device/network, alerts/notifications, and of course...MUSIC reactivity! now instead of a regular ol' boring 420 sesh in a cold, sterile environment - i can create whatever mood, ambiance, environment, habitat, etc. & make life less monotonous with the full sensory experience of a mini-concert/dance party at the tip of my fingers.i am fully impressed with the quality, versatility, and automaticity settings of this product and the price, especially - i am probably going to gush and recommend the device/brand to anyone who will listen...i'm looking forward to a more variable experience in the most occupied room that used to be the most boring of bedrooms.because of the ease with which i've had with the bulbs, i look forward to branching out into the exciting realm of smart devices that already seem to be making my life a little less annoying...with a little more planning and forethought..thanks for putting a smile on my face and joy in my place :)

8/15/21 UPDATE: Thanks to another review, I was able to get Alexa voice control set up. The skill is called Tuya Smart.Everything is still working great and I'm thrilled with the product. The one complaint I had prior to enabling voice control was that you can only control one light at a time if you have multiple set up, even if they are grouped in a room. After enabling Alexa, I almost never use the IBright app and can adjust both bulbs or each individually through Alexa.It's really cool and is easy to set up. The app is easy to use and the bulb works just as it says, with the exception of being Alexa-enabled. If you don't plan to use voice control, then this is a great bulb at a reasonable price.I was really hoping to use it with my Alexa, but there doesn't appear to be an iBright skill as the app claims when you try to set up voice control. I would have given this product 5 stars if not for this issue. If that ever gets fixed, I'll change my rating.

Followed instructions exactly as laid out. I give up. Total waste of money.

They are great for getting a good lighting in a room.

Stumbled across these in my search. I'm one of those people who have to look at 30 different options and compare everything and read the reviews... blah blah blah. After a few days of searching these seemed to be my best option. The price was tolerable the options excellent AND the need for a smart plug was eliminated, so nothing else extra to buy. I figured if worse came to worst and I hated them and regretted my decision it was free to return.Skipping ahead to the present. These bulbs were easy to install. They practically connect themselves. Personally I now have them set on a timer to turn on and off. All those times I ended up being out longer then planned and wished I had left the light on are gone. Even on vacation being away for multiple days we can make sure there's always some light for the fur-kids. The timer option is great also because the light is there when you need it and turns off when I fall asleep with it on.Then there are all the options! Any color you could possibly desire you can turn on. I really enjoy that there are so many "scenes" which are really just one touch settings that saves the options you have chosen like color, brightness, blinking/solid as an example of a couple options. It's really nice if u find perfect settings you want to repeat often. It's also pretty convenient that when u need a lot of light in a hurry all u have to do is ask Alexa. Thinking about getting another set!

I wish the single colors were brighter, the warm light and white light is super bright though. I also havnt figured out how to connect both lightbulbs together. Both have to be set separately

Put this in a side table lamp and it is perfect. I love being able to change the brightness according to the activity. Super bright for reading or very dim for movie watching. I have had no connectivity issues at all and the app works great with this bulb. So many colors and settings to choose from, this bulb packs a lot of bang for the price. Very satisfied.

The product is pretty good for the price the only warnings I would give is that you have to make sure you have or can change your wifi to 2.4ghz because mine wouldn’t work until I did that. Another thing is that you have to be in the app the whole time you use music mode and you can’t do multiple at the same time. Otherwise amazing product.
