HunterFan Company, 59252, 52 inch Dempsey Fresh White Indoor / Outdoor Ceiling Fan with LED Light Kit and Handheld Remote

We mounted this ceiling fan in the family room. It's incredibly quiet and the remote control is so much easier than trying to deal with pull chains. It's very high quality - love the nickel finish. Very easy to install.

It is as described. It gives out the perfect amount of air flow so we can sit on our front porch in this terrible heat. I like the simple design, the light gives off a good amount of light.

Amazing fan! Looks contemporary in our lanai, works great, and the remote is a nice extra we didn't have before (much better than those silly chains hanging down in the middle of your table area!). Love the LED light too, should last a long time and don't have to worry about it outside.

Although hunter fan quality has decreased substantially over the years, they still make a decently powerful yet quiet fan that rarely needs balancing after install. Installation however is terrible. Hunter makes many design decisions that make install difficult and dangerous. During many steps you would need 2 people to install this fan or use both hands and your head to balance various parts. This is very dangerous to install on a tall ceiling (anything greater that 10ft). Its would cost pennies to make a few changes and allow this fan to be installed with one hand....come on Hunter.

Hunter fan quality and dependability speaks for itself. Have been using them for over thirty years. Assembly is consistent with enclosed instructions. Whisper quiet when running. Fits nicely into our bedrooms and the nook. The remote is very flexible for use when dimming lights and when increasing and lowering the speed of the fan blades. Works in reverse to push air down or up via a switch located inside the light globe area. I bought three of these for my new home.

I put this fan in my 12 x 16 screened in porch. It was easy to install, much the same as many other ceiling fans. One thing I liked about this one that was different than the many others I have installed as the mounting of the blades. They get mounted with three screws to the pre-installed brackets on the motor rotor. So instead of two steps to install the blades, its just one. Everything else was similar to any other fan. This one came with a stubby shaft for close mount applications which we used, it only got me closer to the ceiling by an inch, but it does feel like it made a difference. The light is very sufficient for the room it is in and the fan is more than adequate for the room size. Overall, I'm a big fan. I will report back in the future to tell you if the fan blades have held up outside or not.

Hi have hunter fans in everyone room in my home and I love that this one comes in black. It cools great and prevents me from having to run the AC.

Summary: You can expect to waste 3+ hours of your time or your worse your electricians time,to install the fan, work through horrible support to determine you have a faulty product they don't want to warranty, and then tear out fan and re-box and return the item.Details: I received the fan and installed it, only to find out that the remote receiver was faulty. I contacted Hunter fan support and waited 20+ minutes for them to confirmed the fan remote receiver was faulty. They then said that they would email information on the warranty part and that I needed to reply to the email with the proof of purchase. I immediately did as they asked and emailed the proof of purchase from Amazon. After waiting a week and not hearing back from the email, I again contacted customer support again by phone. After waiting 30+ minutes for help, I asked if they shipped the replacement part. They said they would look into it. They confirmed they had not shipped the replacement as the proof of purchase was sent from a mobile device and they only accept receipts that are sent from desktop computers. They said I would need to locate a desktop computer to send them a different copy of the receipt/proof of purchase. They cannot accept receipts sent from mobile devices. I instead choose to return the item as I do not have access to a desktop computer. I highly recommend not purchasing Hunter Fans as their support is designed to be frustrate you so they can decline clear warranty parts for ridiculous reasons.

Works well

Good quality product. The finish matches our kitchen décor and appears to be high quality. Fairly easy to install. Will purchase another Hunter product. The light does dim, but I had to replace the bulbs.

Fan is great, this lowest speed is a bit slow, and light is not dimmable. Otherwise easy install and good operation.
