This unit is esthetically pleasing, and performs well. Three settings for mist levels. Cool and warm. Automatically shuts off when water finishes. Easy set up without instructions. Screw off cap, fill with water, screw cap on, then assemble. Remote control! My plants love it!

This is a visually pleasing humidifier that can blend right into the decor of your home while adding humidity to the air in the winter.I have been pleasantly surprised that it does not leak or spill water when refilling. It’s almost completely silent and holds enough water to keep going for hours.

I've been using this item for several weeks and am quite happy with it.It is quiet, asthetically pleasing, easy to use, easy to clean and most important it gets the job done.To operate, I fill the removeable tank with filtered tap water. It takes just over one small Brita pitcher full to do so. This is just enough water to run it for 6 hours, which is the longest run time settting.To fill, simply unscrew the demineralization filter, fill and replace. (a.k.a. screw on cap to the tank. You will receive 3 in the package) To reattach the tank simply line up the lettering on the tank with that on the base and set it in place.On top of the tank you have two options. Either a flat cap that makes the unit shorter, or the elongated top. Both tops may be turned to control the direction of the mist.The settings may be adjusted on the base or with the very easy to use remote control. The settings are:- Power on/off-Timer (2, 4 or 6 hours)-warm mist on/off-mist low/medium/highTo clean the unit, simply pour out any standing water from the base and the tank. There is a small plastic cover in the tank that does not snap into place, so this could be easily lost if you're not mindful of that.Rinse the tank however you normally would. I use a natural cleaner that will not hurt the unit.There are three things worth noting, the first of which pertains to ordering. I don't recall the names of the color options but I preferred the dark brown wood tone. When I would choose that option though, the item description no longer stated "warm mist". Does the dark brown not have that option? I don't know as I just gave up and went with the lignt wood color.The second note pertains to the finish. It is plastic. Common sense should dictate that bit, but it's something you may easily just not think about when considering this item.The third thing I will mention pertains to the warm mist feature. This item is NOT like a traditional warm mist humidifier. If you're sick with a stuffy nose and lock yourself in a small room with this unit you will not steam up the room and find relief.While the mist is warm, it's just not that warm. The instructions state the temperature it reaches but I don't see any way to test that. They do also clearly state though, that the mist cools down as it travels up. What I notice is that when using the elongated top, the mist is slightly cooler than when using the flat cap but again, do not expect a hot and steamy experience.You can also not expect the unit to cool down your space either though, whether using the warm mist feature or not. I mention that as my last humidifier made my room much colder. It also got the floor and furniture pretty wet but there is no worry of that here.I can't speak to the diffuser feature as I don't use that but there is small slide out in the base to do so.Price wise I think it was a bit high but I felt the asthetic was worth it and it does do the job well.Unless mega steam is super important to you, I recommend this product.

Claim #1: the remote doesn’t work.Solution: remove the tiny clear plastic film from the bottom of the remoteClaim #2: turns off after a certain amount of hours.Solution: do not use the timer. Make sure to fill it all the way go with water. It takes a lot of water.Claim #3: white dust everywhere.Solution: do not use any type of water but distilled water!Claim #4: it’s leaking.Solution: it is not leaking. You just have to learn how to turn it upside down without spilling waterClaim #5: it looks cheap and obviously plastic.Solution: it certainly does not look cheap and it does in fact resemble wood. Put it somewhere along with plants or decor and it’ll blend right in.Claim #6: it is hard to clean.Solution: always pour all the water out and take it apart when not in use and let it dry.Claim #7: the heat option doesn’t work.Solution: the heat does work. You just have to WAIT! The humidifier needs a chance to heat up the water a bit.Overall the humidifier is amazing! It looks beautiful around my plants and it’s super powerful. It has 3 settings for myst. I keep it on the middle setting and it fogs up my plants pretty well.

Update: Stopped working after a matter of weeks. Don’t waste your money! We tried everything, including descaling. Turns on with red light at first, starts, puts out no steam. Very disappointed!While it’s easy to use and works nicely on the cool setting, I wish I’d read more reviews prior to purchase. The warm mist setting does not exist. I purchased it because I was under the weather and it was not entirely suitable for that as I really wanted warm steam. I also think it’s going to be nearly impossible to properly clean which worries me. Now, the good…the cool steam output is nice and it’s quiet in my opinion. It looks nice enough.

The esthetically pleasing look of this humidifier is what made me purchase this even though there were many reviews that spoke of the warm mist feature not working. It didn't work for me either. Not only that, the water reservoir opening is small and requires a funnel to get the water in without spilling. When it's time to add more water and you lift the reservoir, the bottom half holds a lot of water, so there will be a mess. The top half (cylinder shape) drips and the middle part, which is the actual reservoir, drips. So when I'm transporting it to a place where I can refill it, I'm dripping water through my home. I haven't had it long enough to need to clean it, but I can't imagine it being easy or efficient with this design.I decided to return this and purchased a larger humidifier (which you will see in the last photo (hopefully the last photo!)). This holds about 3.5 gallons of water and is super to fill! I paid close to $25 more for this as Amazon had a $50 coupon. It was well worth it, but I must say, this pales in comparison to the beauty of the subject of this here review. I'll just tuck it somewhere and not display it like I was able to display the one I'm returning.With a few tweaks, this humidifier could really be amazing...and would probably cost a lot more! If you don't need warm mist, and don't mind funneling your water into the reservoir this may be for you!

Was going to purchase another, larger brand (2 of which I already own and love), but the price had risen considerably, so I sought out an alternative. Found this one for 1/3 the price of the other brand and very similar in design and identical in colour, though a bit smaller. So far, so good! Very quiet, with versatile settings and comes with a remote. Love it.

Works wonderful, really helps during the dry winter months. Produces a lot of steam and the tank last a very decent amount of time

Love this product!!! Keeps my living room and dining room areas free of static electricity and dryness to my skin and hair!!Also, the essential oil tray gives the room a nice clean and inviting feel and smell. Love it!!!!!!! Looks like a piece of wood art on your table top. All that in one product, couldn’t be happier

The product is defective.A red light turns on, then nothing happens. I wasted hours trying to understand the sparse, incomplete instructions.Extensive online research confirmed there is no fix and by reading numerous reviews, it’s evident that this product is of extremely poor quality and non-functional - at such a rate : it should be taken off the market. Plain and simple.

I got this as a gift for my mother in law. It works, I thought it would be taller which is my fault for not looking at the dimensions. works good lots of settings and looks nice
