Great read!
This is the first book I've read by Cole and I really enjoyed it! I probably shouldn't have finished it while in flight, but that's another story. The book has great characters and was fun to read.

So Good
What a great read…I couldn’t stop reading, as the story unfolded. It felt so real as if I was one of the passengers myself. The author did a fantastic job describing the hijacking and what those poor passengers went through. I love Cora and Kyle, their bravery and compassion went above and beyond!I enjoyed the book immensely.

Excellent read
I have been trying to get this book for a long time.It lived up to the reviews I read. Actually, it was better than I expected it to be. So many individual components that have to come together to make a book extraordinary. I liked the characters right away. The story was interesting and believable. The pace was just right. I liked the way you felt like you were a passenger on that plane.I just felt like it was well balanced and exciting. Hi

Couldn’t Put It Down
Once I started reading this book, I found it difficult to put down. The characters are well developed, and the plot well executed. The way the author describes each part of this horrifying flight makes you feel like you are on the plane experiencing the hijacking with them.

Fasten your seatbelts and close your tray table and make sure your seat is in its upright position!
The Pilot's Daughter fires on all cylinders. I'm partial to commercial aviation thrillers. I work in the industry and have always been enthralled.I'm not experienced on writing book reviews afraid of giving away any plot information. This book takes off from page one introducing us to our heroine a retired ER nurse, and daughter of a commercial pilot. BTW the writer Audrey J. Cole just so happens to be a commercial pilot's daughter and retired nurse.Flight 385 is a commercial 737 flight from Seattle to the big island, Hawaii. Lets just say its not your routine unevenful flight. Besides our heroine there's a Seattle Homicide detective who is a hero in his own right. The other major characters are interconnected and things come full circle. There's Alana, a wealthy young businesswoman who starts off bitchy but grows on you. Mila, the first class flight attendant who knows her way around the cockpit. And, lest we forget multi big pharma billionaire Eddie. This supposed self made hotshot has the comely Alana as his latest squeeze oops, meant girlfriend. And she's having his baby. There's enough aviation detail that is realistic. I feel there's room for a sequel, maybe a series. I hope so. The Pilots Daughter could fly solo and make a great movie. This book was a fast read and I couldn't put it down.Though not flying at cruising altitude (airliner suspense) I look forward to reading Ms. Cole's other novels.Though not meant to be humorous there are several airline disaster tomes that made me chuckle. As mentioned, I work as a customer service rep for a major airline. The author makes these "tomes" work and flows well with this story. That's it for now. If you like commercial aviation thrillers I suggest you read The Pilot's Daughter. If your flying, please listen to your flight crew and at least peruse the safety information card in the seatback in front of you. Then by all means dive right in and join the 150 plus soles aboard Pacific Air flight 385. :)

Good page turner but some errors
This was a hard book to review. The plot was very good and I really enjoyed reading it, especially the last chapters. But for me, two negatives were:1. the reason for the hijacking seemed too far fetched - but - this is fiction2. There were a lot of errors and typo mistakes, seems like it needed tweaking beforehand. At one point it was confusing - it was like a section had been rewritten but some of the original still remained.Having said that, it was a good thriller that made you want to turn the pages and No Spoilers really, but there was satisfying kharma for one of the characters in the end.
