Shiro Activated Charcoal Shampoo (100 ml / 3.38 oz)

I REALLY wanted to love this product. I've recently been getting into charcoal products and am super picky when it comes to packaging. The entire Sort of Coal line is beautifully presented. I'd buy it all just to have on display! I also really love smoky scents so I thought I was going to fall head over heels in love but...as a few others have noted, IT SMELLS LIKE BBQ SAUCE! There's a certain sweetness to the scent that just throws me off. I ended up using it as a hand wash because I really don't want my hair and body to smell like I went to a cookout and accidentally was mistaken as a piece of brisket. If you love warm, smoky scents, skip this and spend your money on Le Labo's  Patchouli 24 Shower Gel/8 oz.  You'll thank me later!

Gets your hair clean, but I just can't get used to the smokey charcoal smell. Day 2 after washing and drying i don't smell the charcoal anymore. Still trying to decide if i like this or not. Just ok for now.

I had been looking at different shampoos – and must have put the size of a different shampoo with the features of this shampoo. Although it is nice – this is a very extravagant price. It's completely my fault for not noticing the size before hitting the buy button.

If you need a shampoo which leaves your hair feeling squeaky clean. This is the one. I tried this shampoo with and without oiling my hair before the shampoo. Both times left my scalp really clean. The smell however is very different ( Brunt wood smell) and is something that you will need to get used to. By the third wash i didn't mind it , however it is strong and will stay in your hair for a day or 2. Overall a good shampoo to use as a mix with your regular shampoo's to remove build up.
