Run a mile
If you're looking for aset. This kubb set is awful, don't buy it.First the set is wrong size , i thought at first i add bought a child's set of the game.that would make it understandable. The kubbs and king are about half the size (length and thickness ) in comparison to the set i have played before. hence thinking it was a child's set, but on closer inspection to the box, it gives the same dimensions for the pitch at the game is meant to be played. so that doesnt make sense. half the size of the pieces , then half the size of the pitch in the rules. i think they just skimmed on the wood. and just left the rules the same as the normal sized game. The kubbs and king have a random assortment of woods. what i can tell is that about 7 out of the 10 kubbs are made from pine, and then 3 are made from some other darker wood. They're different weights, that doesn't work. The finish on them is rough. there so badly made that they weren't even sanded properly, the edge of one of the batons, gave me a splinter. how am i meant to play this game.Lastly the price, its the same price as an actual normal set. one with the right size and everything , how can they justify that. I suggest that you don't buy this product. its a waste of money.

Not the best set for your money
The set is very small and if your lawn is not stubble-short and perfectly even, you're likely to spend a lot of time standing up fallen knights for your opponents. The pieces are also quite light and there's a large variance in the weight of the throwing pins, which makes it difficult to get a flow going. The set also does not come with a carrying bag, as pictured. This is disappointing. All that said, the set has what you need to play Kubb and with a bit of patience it's not too bad.

Five Stars
More fun then shouting obscenities at the penguin inclosure whilst wearing the park wardens costume back to front.

Not fit for purpose
This is so light a gentle breeze knocks it over. It’s like balsa would so every hit leaves a good dent. Some batons already bent. We had to unpack and use it to discover all this so can’t now return. Disappointing.

Great game
Great game to play would have preferred wood to be coated with protective lacquer to stop them getting grass stained

Needs heavier throwing sticks to make the game more enjoyable.
Bought this as I'd played the game in Switzerland and really enjoyed it. The only problem is the throwing sticks are lighter in weight than the ones in the Swiss version. This makes it harder to throw accurately and knock the kubbs down. We may have to make our playing pitch smaller to compensate!

Fantastic value set
Well made wooden set and fantastic value. Included a bag to carry all of the pieces. Easy to setup. Would recommend you watch a few videos on how to play the game, they explain way better than any written instructions.
