Turmeric Curcumin from Critical Nutrition is an All-Natural Supplement That Comes with a 750 mg's Proprietary Blend of Turmeric Root & Curcumin Extract with Black Pepper Extract (3 Month Supply)

The actual amount of the part that works to reduce inflammation, the curcuminoids, is super low in this supplement. 50 mg out of a 750mg capsule. Sure, it's cheap. But I use this to control inflammation caused by Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, and Hashimoto's disease. I need to have at least 500mg of Curcuminoids in order to reduce the amount of prescribed medications and antiinflammatories I take. I know that Curcuminoids work, but you gotta have a good amount. How do I know it works? I've gone from 5 pain and anti-inflammatory medications to one a day. That's amazing.If you have only a minor inflammation (is that even possible?) this particular product might work for you. For me, it's absolutely not worth the money.This is something that a LOT of sellers of these Turmeric supplements do, and why it's vital you read your labels. They fill it with the cheap part of the Turmeric plant, the part that doesn't do anything (except flavor) then add a tiny amount of Curcuminoids (which is very expensive) then make fantastical claims of of it's efficacy. When you read your labels, make sure you can see exactly how many milligrams of "Turmeric extract that is standardized to 95% Curcuminoids" is listed. If it's in a "proprietary blend", chances are, that standardized extract is extremely small.

I've been taking turmeric for years, to help control the pain and inflammation of multiple sclerosis. I usually take more expensive brands, either from Stop Aging Now or Christian Wilde, but when I saw that this formula from Critical Nutrition offers 750 mg for such a low price, I figured I had to try it. Big mistake. Within a week or two of switching, I was in severe pain again. The label may say 750 mg, but my body tells me these capsules are mostly fillers. Christian Wilde's Enhanced Turmeric Formula (available on Amazon) is a gazillion times better at fighting pain and inflammation. I'm switching back, immediately.

This tastes horrible however if you can get beyond that, this works as well as another brand of Turmeric with BioPerine I have tried. The price hike from $7.00 to $37+, both from Critical Nutrition, is ridiculous.

After putting this into my daily diet I have noticed that I sleep better and my knees do not hurt when I get up in the morning. Wished I would've got more at the initial price point. I almost forgot that my migraines aren't even noticeable.

I take two in the morning and they provide pain relief all day. Good quality product at a good price.

Does what it says, helping with pain.
