Your popcorn kit is easier to use than the other kits using coconut oil. Its nice not having to pour in three items compared to your single pour. One difference: the Panther Creek doesn't pop as much corn as the competitors' kits. Also, just for fun I weighed two of your packages. They were both a different weight, and also less than 6 ounces.

I love that the 6 oz packets had everything (corn kernels actually in a pouch with oil and salt). But as the oil got hotter, it started smelling like fish and when I ate a piece of the popped corn that had a higher amount of the oil on it, it tasted a little like it, as well.It seemed fresh, but chewy: The popcorn itself was chewy and a high hull-to-popped corn ratio. I am pretty sure I didn't have a big-enough pan (did this pkg in a dutch oven on the gas stovetop, shook it around, etc.); as in the old Orville Reddenbacher commercials (showing my age), it was "blowing the top right off the popper!" Or, in my case, the pan lid. So I think if I made just half the package in the same pan, for example, it may have given it more room to pop and left fewer unpopped kernels.The amount of salt was good, along with the freshness, but that oil...maybe it was stored improperly somewhere in too high of heat? It's marked best used by sometime in the middle or later 2020, (I recycled the box already and I'm not crawling into my big recycling bin to get it) and I popped it on Labor Day, September 2, 2019.I'm glad I got a smaller package, and I will try it again, but if it keeps tasting and smelling like fish, it'll have to go.

Please let me start by sharing that if I were stranded on a deserted island and I had to choose one food I could have, it would be popcorn. This popcorn tastes great and is a lot of fun! Making it with my kids reminded me of my childhood family movie or tv watching nights. The whole experience was good and comforting.These popcorn packets inspired me to share the experience. I was in charge of a teacher gift for my child's class. Since he has more than 1 teacher, it did not feel good giving a teacher gift to just the homeroom teacher. An idea was born and this popcorn made it a fun and good gift. I volunteered in the classroom and as a project had the kids assemble "movie night" gift bags for all their teachers. The kids had so much fun doing this and were proud of themselves! Each bag received this popcorn, a box of candy, and a bottle of soda. This popcorn took center stage. Outside the gift bag, the kids pasted/taped/glued an adorable gift tag from a blog that I found. The tag said, "You make us POP with appreciation". Perfect compliment to go with this great tasting popcorn.I was stopped by a teacher who asked me where we got the popcorn. I directed her to Amazon. She said it was so darn good that she was craving more. It was nice to hear that she said that it not only tasted good, but she had a whole experience popping it in a pot again and sitting down to a relaxing movie night. Exactly how I felt with my family. So glad I could share that experience with the Panther Creek Movie Theater Popcorn. Yes, I will be ordering this again.

The popcorn is buttery and crispy. The leftover popcorn (if you can believe there was any) was still fresh and crispy 4 days later. My only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the pre-measured, seasoned package has too much popcorn for my Whirly Pop popcorn maker. I had to quickly dump some popcorn into the bowl after the Whirly Pop got filled to the brim and the popcorn kept on popping.

I have been ordering this wonderful popcorn for over a year. I believe I'm on my 4th order (I order quite a bit at a time too) since I purchased my large commercial machine so I could have for guests and our grandchildren. Our first order was a little salty and not buttery enough. I love salt; however, too salty for me. They seem to have fixed this issue and every order since has been amazingly wonderful. I keep the warmer on all day and into the next day depending on how much I make and it still tastes great! The pre-mixed pouches are so very easy to use. You're not mixing and trying to obtain just the right taste cuz it's already there! Thank you Panther Creek for providing such a wonderful product for us. My husband over our 46 years of marriage has never been a popcorn eater; HOWEVER, he now is! Panther Creek Trading.....Please keep up the good work and thanks for solving the salt issue. We are a forever customer and I recommend anyone who tried and felt it was too salty to give it another try now.

The popcorn is definitely flavorful. I have one concern when I received the bags of popcorn they were covered in oil within a very thin outer bag that was covered in oil. I had to wash off each package of popcorn with soapy water. If the oil is leaking out, how can the oil stay fresh? If the oil can leak out then air can get in and I would assume the oil could go rancid. Where do I store these bags to keep them fresh? Concerned customer! You have a good product but, this problem should certainly be corrected. This is most definitely inferior packaging and is a serious reflection on your company.ThanksConcerned Customer

Love this popcorn! I've tried many of the "theater" style packets and this one is my favorite. Flavor, texture, just right amount of salt. It's the closest to real movie theater I've found. So why not 5 stars? It's the 6oz bag. I have a family of 5 and we all love popcorn. One 6 oz bag is too little but two is too much. Give me an 8-10oz option and I'd give it the 5th star.
