This bag is very attractive. I bought it to use as a casual briefcase/bag for carrying work things. I was a little worried about the size at first, but it is large enough to carry legal-sized files, a few thick books, a surface pro, and other odds and ends. I give this bag 4 stars because the straps are a little thin, and I wish they were slightly more substantial. I am concerned that the straps will not hold up after time, or if I carry heavier items in the bag. Otherwise, I am so far very pleased with this purchase.

I have had the bag for about a week and I have mixed feelings. It arrived well before expected, which was a pleasant surprise and it was well packaged. As other reviewers noted, it did have a strong chemical odor but that wore off after a few days and was not unexpected or unbearable. At first glance it is a lovely, well-made item. I got the red, which is as pictured. I was a little concerned that the dye would rub off onto my clothes, especially if caught in the rain. When I tested a spot on the inside of the handle, the color did rub off, especially with a lightly damp cloth. And, this created a discoloration on the bag where the cloth was applied. There are also several spots where it is evident the dye was not distributed evenly - most of which are where there are seams or creases in the leather. I loaded the bag up - iPad, Surface, cords, other accessories - the straps are thin so it's not comfortable to carry with that much weight in it - but it has held up ok. Although, there does seem to be stress on the seams where the straps hit the top of the bag so it shouldn't be overloaded. The interior is nice and relatively roomy. The zippers are still a bit stiff but I'm sure they will loosen up with use. It's ok for the price and if it's not inspected too closely, it looks like a very nice bag. The jury's still out on how the dye is going to hold up over time or if exposed to moisture.

THIS BAG... I had been looking for the perfect camel-brown leather tote for the longest time, and was about to settle for a more expensive bag I was less than thrilled with, when I stumbled upon this one. It fits everything, including my macbook mini, a small umbrella, my wallet, a book, my makeup bag... literally everything I'd want or need at a moment's notice. While most of the bags I liked didn't have a closure or had one snap closure in the middle, this bag has a zipper, so I feel comfortable traveling with it on a plane (to store under the seat). The perfect find, and looks exactly like the picture.

I liked the leather and the overall look of the bag; however, it was too large for my tastes. Also, the straps seemed very thin; if I would load this bag up (as most of us women do... the bigger the bag, the more we put into it!), I'm pretty sure the straps would dig into my shoulders. Because of these reasons, I decided to return it.

Purse is a great size. Fits my 13" laptop, plus seemingly everything else I own - all which can be organized into different pockets and ZIPPED. Which is a major plus living in NYC! My only complaint is that the purse arrived reeking of chemicals - maybe a leather protector? I have stuffed about 10 fabric softener sheets in it and propped it by the window. Looks and functionality of the purse make it hard to complain tho!

UPDATE - 02/13/2016: I have downgraded this bag from three stars to two. One of the handle straps is coming apart. I have used this tote as an everyday bag. I don't believe that I put that much stuff in it. It is just not as quality a product as I would have hoped.The bag (color) looks exactly as it does on the site. The leather seems to be good quality and smells good. The stitching is tight so the outside is fabulous.What is a bit disappointing is the inside of the bag. It looks as if it was made right before I ordered it... I'm not sure why the inside matters but it does. Ah well, it was literally shipped from China so I won't be returning it but I don't know if I would purchase another item from ZLYC.

Love this tote. Lovely leather, durable, great color. Zipper in the middle. The only thing(s) I would change? Include a magnetic so you can just 'shut' the purse without zippering it. And the inside lining is a dark color, makes it hard to find anything. Other than that, money well-spent and I hope to have it forever!

I love the quality and stain of the leather, just wish the straps weren't as thin as they are. It is beautiful though.
