Monster Light
I bought this to replace my trusty Cateye Nano, which sadly is now out of production and I can't seem to find replacement batteries for it. Whereas the Nano weighs less than 100g, this thing tips over 250g and surprisingly uses the same mount. However the mount seems to work just as effectively. So, on my first test run how did it fare? My run is a combination of unlit park paths, lit public roads and unlit roads, and it's all done at night (if the sun doesn't rise too early). Firstly the 'high beam' setting is awesome and is very good on dark paths where there may be obstructions. The middle and low beam settings are also pretty good and are fine on smooth unlit roads. On lit roads the flashing mode is perfectly adequate and will last a claimed 150 hours. As for the daytime hyperconstant - not really sure about that. The instructions say to not use the light on a public road, but hey public roads are where visibility (of the rider) is needed, just be mindful NOT to use high beam and make sure the lamp is angled so the main focus of the beam is down in front of the bike and not hoirizontal

Great value, great light
I'd bought a couple of lights in the £30 ish price range which claimed really big number of lumens, first one went back 'cos the charger didn't fit the light, second one went back 'cos there was a dodgy connection between the battery pack and the light so it kept cutting out, I decided to go up the price range, best decision ever!!This is a proper piece of kit, well built and feels really solid, at a quoted 1300 lumens it's supposed to be less bright than the £30 lights, as far as I can tell it's actually just as bright as they were, looks like the 3000 lumens claim need to be taken with a pinch of salt!!As I don't run it flat and charge it after each ride I can't tell how long it will last, but I know it'll do an hour and a half at full power no problem.Definitely would recommend this light.

HOLY MOLY!
The light output from this thing is outstanding! Phenomenally bright, though not as wide field as I was expecting, but not so narrow as to dock a star.It mounts securely and easily and I've run it for well over an hour with no loss of light output. It does get hot around the lamp, so you don't want to touch it when it's been on for a while. If you want to see and be seen, get one of these!

Simply brilliant
Absolutely fantastic. Lights up the road on full strength, where there is no road lighting. Cars (in rush hour traffic) are clearly aware of my presence when I have it on blink, and even move to the right a little to help me get through.Battery life is fantastic too, I use it a lot and have hardly had to charge it.Great piece of kit, worth the price. Makes me feel much safer than the light it replaced.

The highly versatile bike light...
Wowww.... all around a really great and versatile light. Totally worth it. I’m the type that use my lights as much as I can for added visibility. Read somewhere that someone recommended getting the ‘overkill’ light that you likely won’t need but have the ability to use should you need it. And this definitely (for me) has worked a treat! Handy quick release and easy install.

Perfect (expensive but worth it)
Even on the lowest output setting I can see and avoid piles of horse poo, branches and other debris on unlit country roads when cycling at night. When it’s not spring/summer and a moonless night, I think I’d need at last the next setting up. Really well made, solid product that produces a really clear and consistent white beam of light.

Good light / rubbish bracket
Great light for my commute but the bracket is useless and doesn't hold the weight of the light properly; it quickly shakes loose when going over bumps.
