Now, the text and the pictures on the page may lead some people to believe these are suitable for belts or bracelets ,but the prongs are very short. Also, I bought 2 packs at once, so 400 in total and about 25 were mis-shaped and had a flat spot around the edge.

WOW!! I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy delivery of my order, received within 2 days. The silver domed studs are beautiful and shine like stars. I got these studs to make some faux studded leather armor for cosplay and these work really well! They have four sharp little prongs that can easily pierce through both faux leather and foam, and will hold in place well (especially with super glue). I have also tested them out on fabric and they quickly pierce through cotton and other fabrics, and the little tines on the back can be easily bent to hold them in place. However, they are not hard to work with and do not poke or hurt when you touch the tines. They also came in a nice little packet with a little thank you note and card with an envelope. I highly recommend them as they are extremely easy to use! I have also attached a picture of a test piece of armor I made, it has a combination of rivets and studs, and the studs are pointed out with red arrows. They, of course, did not sink in as deeply as the hammered rivets.

I bought two different kinds of studs for a faux leather jacket. The first (different brand, different size) was very easy to punch through and the tines were very easy to bend on the reverse side (my seven-year-old was able to do it with her fingers). These, however, are a struggle. The tines are extremely short and not as sharp as the others, so it takes a great deal of force to punch them through the fabric, and even then they barely penetrate far enough to be bent and secured. When I am able to get them through I have to use jewelry pliers to bend the tines down. That said, they're cute and look as advertised, they're just a struggle to apply.

The product is good quality. I returned because I ordered 3 packs of 200 and received 3 packs of 100. It would delay too much to receive the right product so I did more research and found a cheaper and faster option. So I’m not low rating the product but the service.

These studs are perfect for adding visual interest to my creative journals! Although I just bought one little package, the seller still made me feel important! Thank you!
