Excellent with a little customization
I bought this grill before taking a 2 week camping trip. I cooked with it a few times prior to the trip to test for flare-ups and the grease catch pan issues. I decided to add a heat deflector to stop the flare-ups since the top of the burner catches grease. I also took the chain off of the useless match holder and used it to hold a pin. I drilled a small hole to slide the pin into the rail for the grease pan. When the heat deflector arrived I used an angle grinder to cut the deflector to fit. I used the grill for burgers, hot dogs, and steaks on the trip. I had no flare-ups and love the way it cooks. I also added a carry bag with pockets for propane bottles and utensils.

Small grill, easy to use
We had grown tired of trying to use the big grills at our mountain condo. Yess, they’re free, but it seemed like we were out there forever waiting for food to cook. We ordered this little Cuisinart grill to use on our deck. I was prepared to sacrifice two filet mignons if it didn’t work…..instead, they were cooked perfectly with a little sea salt (herbs de Provence), some cracked pepper and a little mesquite seasoning. I cooked them four minutes on each side, then tented under foil on a plate for 5 minutes. They were perfect for us at medium rare to medium. Honestly, I am never this good on the big grill. I believe this grill is easy to control. Even with the lid closed, I could smell the delicious steak cooking. My husband was so skeptical about this grill, but he was impressed that his steak could not have been more perfect! There are only two of us, but we could have easily cooked for 4-6. The price is good and you can use the little Coleman propane bottles (which I did) or buy the connector and use a larger propane tank (which I bought but didn’t use yet). We had a small table to put the grill on while keeping the tongs underneath. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great for the newbie griller!
The push button start worked exactly like it should and it took only 5 minutes to heat this grill up. (Kept it on low the entire time because I was scared that I would burn things on the higher heat setting.) I started out with 4 huge chicken leg quarters and 4 turkey hot dogs. Everything cooked to perfection and I used a grilling thermometer to assist in proper cooking of the chicken, because this was my first time grilling. Next, I put on a slab of pork ribs and 2 hamburger patties. The 1 lb. bottle of propane completely cooked all this food with more to go!Cleaning is where this grill loss a star! The grill grate was a nightmare to clean. Although, I sprayed my food with olive oil spray it still stuck to the grill grate. I had to use an extremely stiff grill brush to clean the grate. However, the inside just wiped clean with an antibacterial wipe. Also, the drip pan slides out easily and you will spill grease everywhere. I was upset at this huge mistake!Overall, this grill is great for a beginner like me! Not to mention, the grill taste on the food was excellent! Delicious…

Nice little grill
Was a bit skeptical of this but really like it. Although it has a lower BTU (5, 500) output, it runs pretty hot. On high measured temperature over 585 degrees F. On low, I need to prop the lid open about 1 inch or so to keep temp down below 350 degrees F. Heat is pretty evenly distributed.Cleanup was easy after grilling some burgers. Just wiped the grill pan out with a paper towel (excluding the burner deflector plate).I did purchase thermometer to assemble into the cover as noted in the pic. Can't imagine grilling without knowing how hot it is...Couple things I noticed/fixed - the gas valve knob cover slips off the knob pretty easily so glued that and the plastic piece around the knob was warped a bit covering the indications on knob so fastened that to the grill better.Overall pleased with the performance of the grill however.
