Does the trick
Works as it should, a bit overpriced for what it is, wish it was American made

It works
Always purchase computer sensors from original manufacturer. Avoid third party especially made in China. Also never purchase third party or rebuilt, or remanufactured primary system parts like brake hydroboost, master cylinder, power steering pump, alternator. You will regret it and double your personal labor when you realize you should have purchased new OEM parts. Take it from a person that works on vehicles a lot as a hobby and someone who don't trust repair shops based on mostly bad experiences.

Perfect!
My AC compressor would run intermittantly. I shorted the low pressure switch (on the drier) and the compressor came on and ran fine. I went to the auto parts store and they wanted over $100.00 for a cheap, knock-off version. I found it here and ordered it. There is a schrader valve underneath this, so you will not lose your refrigerant when you take this off to replace it. Just unscrew the old one, screw on the new one and plug it in. Done!

Use OEM. Worth the extra $$
Works great. 10 months ago I redid my complete system. Replaced this switch with one from Auto Zone. This spring the AC would only work when it wanted to. At idle it would blow warm air. Replaced with this OEM switch. System works great now. Don't waste your money on aftermarket.

This is the right one for low pressure side
fixed the AC on 2002 chevy Silverado 1500 V6. AC pump would not engage at all. Shorted the connector that goes to this switch to simulate the switch there and functioning. After swapping the sensor the pressure in the system was so low that the pump kept turning on and off rapidly. this happened until the pressure was in the green range. Remember that pressure you want to read is when the AC pump is engaged and running.
